Roommate Hunt

Vanessa POV

My name is Vanessa Faith Young and I am 21 years old Blasian, My Dad is Black and my mom is Asain. I am the only child because my mom couldn't have anymore children after me, sad I know right. But anyways I only have one more year in college and then I am finish with school. I am studying in cosmetology, and when I am finish in college I plan on opening my own beauty shop with my bestfriend Kelly. 

Me and Kelly been bestfriends since middle school. We balance each other out. Kelly is the real funny party type girl once you get to know her but once you get on her bad side or try her she can turn real petty and get wild on you real quick. And me on the other hand I am chill but if some one try me or get on my bad side I just laugh in there face because I never been the one to fight that was always Kelly.

It was 12 in the afternoon and I just finished posting a "Roommate wanted sign' on my college website. Its a website where you can post pictures, status, videos all that its like Facebook but with its own twist.

You ask why don't me and Kelly just move in together well that's because she is saving up her half of the money to open up our shop and she is still helping out her mom with her siblings since her mom is a single parent raising four children and Kelly make the fifth child so Kelly cant afford to pay both. And plus she has a dorm room on campus. I actually proud of Kelly because at first she wasn't going to go to college because she couldn't afford it but at out graduation the gave her a scholarship.

I hopped in the shower for fifteen minutes and after I got dressed since I already did my hygiene. I got dress in an all black high neck crop top with a white round skirt that stopped right above my knees. I then found some all black pump heels and a black panama hat to match. Since today was Saturday me and Kelly was hanging out to day. I hopped in my red 2013 Toyota Avalon calling up Kelly. 

"Its to early for you to be calling me. What you want hoe?" Kelly answered her phone aggravated making me laugh. "Its not funny but for real if you coming over here make sure you bring me some breakfast." Kelly hung up. She can be a baby sometimes.

I knocked on Kelly's dorm room door and her room mate Pam answered.

"Oh hi." She said nonchalant. Me and Pam never really got along but I tolerated her little side remarks. I guess she never really liked the fact me and Kelly is bestfriends but I don't care.

I walked passed her and into Kelly's room. She was still in bed asleep. I closed her room door and set the food down on her desk.

"Get up!" I jumped on her.

"Get you big butty off of me!" Kelly pushed me off of her making me land on the floor.

"Fine since you wanna push people ill take my Ihop and go." I laughed getting up off the floor making my way towards the door.

"No bae wait." Kelly hopped up pulling me back on the bed with her. "You aint taking my food no where." We started play fighting while she was on top of me.

"Get yo gay self off of me." I laughed pushing her on the bed besides me. We laughed a few seconds more before she got up getting the bag of food.

"I thought I said breakfast." Kelly said slightly annoyed at the fact I got us lunch. I bought her Philly Cheese Steak Stacker and I bought myself a Crispy Chicken Salad. "Why you get a salad? Knowing you need some meat." Kelly laughed.

"I like IHop's salads they good as..." I was cut off by Pam entering the room.

"Kelly you wanna go to a party tonight."
