Ava's POV
45 minutes later
We got to the hospital and the ambulance drivers rolled the stretcher I was on into a hospital room. Roman came to my side and grabbed my hand. "alright the contractions are a minute apart so this one you can start pushing" my doctor told me. I felt the contraction come up and I started pushing while holding onto Roman's hand tightly. After a couple of pushed I heard a baby's cry. My baby girl's cry. I started feeling drowsy and I heard Roman asked "Ava" before everything turned dark.
Roman's POV
"Ava" I asked when I saw her eyes closing and opening before her heart monitor went into a straight line. "no" I yelled out before I started crying. Becky rushed in and saw that straight line on Ava's heart monitor and started crying too. "Miss Quinn and Mr.Anoa'i we need you to leave that way we can save your wife, Mr.Anoa'i" the doctor said. Right when we started leaving the room after giving Aaliyha to a nurse Ava's heart monitor started acting weird until it went back to normal. Ava opened her eyes and they landed on me. "Roman what happened" She asked me. "well babe you died for five minutes but how are you still alive" I told her. "I don't know but all I saw was a bright light so I went after it and here I am still alive" she told me. "wow" was all that I could say. "hi there" Becky said to Aaliyha. Aaliyha grabbed Becky's pinky in her small hand and held it. My family, Dean, Ashunt, and Paige rushed in and awed at Aaliyha. Joelle walked over to Becky and asked "can I hold her, Daddy." "yes sweetie" Ava answered before me. I raised an eyebrow at Ava. "what I have to let my mother skills in for Aaliyha" she said. Joelle walked to Ava's bed and sat down on Ava's lap and reached out for Aaliyha. Ava put her arms around Joelle and Becky put Aaliyha in Ava's and Joelle's arms that way Joelle won't drop her. "it's too adorable" Ashunt said gushing at the sight of Ava,Joelle,and Aaliyha. "I know right" Dean said surprising everyone. "what it's just too damn adorable" he said making everyone laugh at him. "knock knock" a female voice said. It was Lauren Cohan with the rest of the walking dead except Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney . "hey how are you feeling" Melissa asked Ava. "actually pretty good" Ava answered. "How" Paige asked Ava. "how what" Ava said looking at Paige confused. "how do you give birth and still look good after it" Paige said making all of us laugh. "I don't know probably mine and Becky's family genetics" Ava answered. I moved off the bed to Ava's side and looked down at Aaliyha. I saw her eyes flutter open and smile appear on her face once she saw her mommy and daddy which made a smile come to my face. My baby girl that I will always protect. My seven year old daughter that I love and will always protect, and the love of my life and my future wife that I will always love all my life. "Roman stop staring at me it's creeping me out" Ava said when she caught me staring at her. "I can't stop staring cause of your beauty and I love you for what's on the inside and outside" I said that and it made her start blushing. "I love you too, Roman" Ava said before she pushed her lips against mine. "hey stop that we don't need any more babies" Dean said making everyone start laughing except me and Ava, we just flipped him off and continued kissing even after Joelle went to my mom and Becky got Aaliyha out of Ava's arms.
