8 months later
Ashunt's POV
It's Aaliyha 8th birthday and I am so close to my birth date. I spook too soon when I felt pain in my lower abdomen. "Ava, come here" I yelled out. "What is it" Ava asked coming into my room. "What did you feel when you went into labor" I asked her. "Pain in my lower abdomen" She said. "Take me to the hospital" I said right before I felt water drip down my leg. Ava went into full mom mode and started ordering things to Roman, Kyla,and Becky. "Mommy what's going on" Aaliyha asked. "Well sweetie your Aunt Ashunt is going into labor" Ava said before I groaned out from the pain. "Ok I called 911 and an ambulance is on its way" Becky said coming into my room. "Great" Ava said clapping her hands together. "Uh mom" Joelle said coming into my room and immediately noticed me about to pass out. "Yeah sweetie" Ava said. "Look at Aunt Ashunt" Joelle said right before everyone turned around and noticed me about to close my eyes. "Please don't, stay awake" Ava said dabbing a wet wash cloth on my forehead. Right before I passed out I heard Dean whisper "the baby is going to alright just fall asleep" so I listened.
Ava's POV
"Wake up, wake up, wake up" I said shaking Ashunt by the shoulders. The ambulance drivers came into the room with a stretcher and placed Ashunt on it. She woke up right when she was placed on it. They rolled her down the hallway and picked up the stretcher on their way down the stairs. They rolled her towards the ambulance once they got her outside. One of the ambulance workers walked up to us and said "sorry but only one person can ride with her" which I volunteered for. Right before I got in I kissed Roman and told to go get Matt and place him in the car. They shut the doors and I saw Roman do what I told him to do and Kyla, Joelle, Aaliyha, and Roman got in the car, while Becky got in her car with Ashunt's hospital bag in her hand. I grabbed Ashunt's hand and she looked at me and said "Ava you're an awesome best friend and an amazing sister" which made me smile and say it back to her. We hugged throughout the ride to the hospital. Once we got in the hospital I was told by Ashunt that she wanted me in the Labour room since John couldn't be by her side so I walked by her side right before she had to give birth to her beautiful daughter Nicole Deanna Good. Yeah she took Dean's real last name since he was Nicole's father. I just wish she could meet him in person. He was a good man and would have been a great father since he was an awesome uncle to Aaliyha, Kyla, and Joelle. I wish Matt and Nicole could have met Dean like Aaliyha met him. He was truly a great friend too. God I miss him.
"I miss him too" Roman said. I looked at him confused until he said "you muttered I miss Dean" which made me blush. I looked down and felt a tear roll down my face and I heard Dean whisper "I miss you too Ava" which made me smile through my tears.
