Chapter 6: The Unexpected

You would have to admit... that unexpected event with the titans ruined it all. It happened quickly, but the moment of it was awful. You finally met Levi, your father, but that took a turn. He was happy to see you and all, but what had happened back there, it killed you. Making some holes in your heart. You didn't care. What happened in the past stayed in the past.

A day after that event, another disaster happened. This was different, because it was the first ever in history. A human transforming into a titan. A titan shifter was what they were called. This surprised you the most. Because it wasn't some random person they found. It was Eren Yeager.

Grunts and whispers were all that was heard in the room. You stood next to Armin wincing through the sounds of someone beating up a person. After they found out about the titan shifter, they took Eren into custody. Whether or not he is human. The judge was the matter of the case. Asking him about his father, his step-sister Mikasa. The military police didn't even give him a chance to answer. Already giving him false accusations. After the sudden burst from Eren saying that he was human and not a monster, the corporal starting kicking and beating him up.

That was all because when Eren starting getting angry, they military police thought he would turn into a titan and kill everyone. Didn't even give him a slight of hope. And now, here you are, along side with Armin and Mikasa, witnessing the beating of Eren Yeager, by Corporal Levi Ackerman. Mikasa was going to stop the fight and kill Levi, but Armin held her off. You honestly wanted to yell out your father, trying to kill your best friend. That was when Captain Eyebrows over there had stated that the Survey Corps would want to take Eren on trial and to be a soldier for them. Eren was humanity's hope of regaining your world back.

After it was over, the Survey Corps took Eren away to get him cleaned up from the sudden beating from Levi. You said your goodbyes to Mikasa and Armin and told them that you would protect him from the other soldiers who would give him doubts or comments about him. You ran as quickly as you could and barged in the room where Eren is now. Looking around, you saw Eren on the couch sitting down with Shitty Glasses looking at him weirdly. Without hesitating, you rushed inside and hugged Eren.

"Eren! Are you okay? Im so sorry you had to go through this" You let go and cupped his cheeks looking for injuries. He was surprised with a hug, but when you cupped his cheeks, you could see a tinted blush on his face.

Erwin, Hange and Levi stared at the two of you a bit to just have your moment. Levi on the other hands was glaring at the both of you and felt the need that he wasn't done with Eren. You looked over to Hange.

"Do you think you can clean his injuries Hange?"

"YES! OF COURSE! MOVE OUT THE WAY!" You moved a bit to the side not to be pushed by the mad scientist here. While that was happening, Captain Erwin began to speak.

"Eren Yeager. We do apologize about the sudden incident. This was the only way to save your life and join the Survey Corps to save all thats left in humanity"

"I-its fine! I-if this is necessary, I completely understand" He sweat dropped and hissed at Hange who was putting alcohol on his cuts. You twitched knowing the feeling of the alcohol poured in a cut, and boy does it burn as hell. You're eyes flickered to Levi who was walking to Eren and plopped right next to him. Eren tensed and flinched as he sat there and looked at him dead in the eye.

"Say Eren. Do you hate me now" Levi said and cocked his head at him. Eren hesitated but shook his head.

"N-no sir. I understand that it was necessary for this" He stuttered and looked away.

"Good. You understand" He turned his head and looked down at the floor. Your blood boiled.

"You went to far to make your point, corporal" You emphasized at the last word like it was poison. You stared at him with fire practically grazing in your eyes, he gave the same look to you.
