A FUNNY JOKE

It has only been 15 days since Jimin and Jeongguk been friends. But Jimin already knew what's Jeongguk's favorite food. He already knew why Jeongguk loves red. He's known that Jeongguk's so forgetful because he thinks too much.

Jeongguk also already knew why Jimin chooses yellow for his umbrella's colour. He knew Jimin is scared of many things. He knew that Jimin loves rain because it makes him invisible so that he can express what he feels in public without being seen and judged.

They always meet on lunch time and after they walk out of each other's company. And,of course,Jimin's love toward Jeongguk is getting bigger as they become closer. Jimin's never been in love before but he thinks the feeling is real. He thinks he need to fight for his feeling. He wants to have Jeongguk no matter how desperate it seems. He wants to confess his feeling to Jeongguk no matter how long it would take.

As Jeongguk's getting closer to him,Jimin realizes that he's getting further away from his bestfriend,Yoongi. They don't have a lunch together anymore since the day they had a lunch together with Jeongguk. And Jimin could understand,because Yoongi doesn't easily get comfortable around new people.

Jimin is shoving his papers into the bag quickly. Seoul is drizzling again after 4 days. He grabs the yellow umbrella that he always carries with him everyday. Although the weather seemed so nice for the several days,he still needs to prepare for the worse condition. And now he's proud of himself because what he did wasn't useless.
"Why are you in a hurry?" Yoongi asks Jimin who's about to leave the building
"I need to share my umbrella with Jeongguk. He must be soaking now."
Jimin runs under the umbrella,leaving Yoongi who's also under an umbrella. Jimin doesn't notice that Yoongi is standing under an umbrella with the colour that Yoongi said he hate the most,yellow.

Jimin walks with a quick steps. He could picture a soaking forgetful Jeongguk on his mind. But he's wrong. Jeongguk is all dry. Jeongguk wasn't soaked. Jeongguk is under a white umbrella with someone. He is only five steps away from them so Jeongguk notices him.
"Jimin,come here!" Jeongguk waves his hand happily while the guy beside Jeongguk gives him a not so friendly look.
"Taehyung,this is my friend that I talked about,Jimin."
That man's face changes immediately. He smiles widely "So,this is that Jimin. Hello! I am Taehyung,Jeongguk's boyfriend."
Jimin stays still. He tries to proceed what he just heard until Jeongguk's voice brings him back to his sense
"Hello?" Jeongguk waves his hand in front of Jimin's face.
He reaches Taehyung's hand "I..I am Park Jimin. It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too."
"Jimin,I'm sorry because I never told you about Taehyung. I am being paranoid because we'll get married soon. I am afraid that something would happen if I told anyone about our relationship."
"No,that's okay,really. I also have that kind of thing. I could understand it." Jimin forces a smile
Of course,something would happen if Jeongguk told him earlier. Jimin wouldn't fall to deep if he knew it from the very first time they shared an umbrella
"I've told you that I and Jimin have many similiarities. We both love rain and we're from Busan . If you were an hour late,I'd fall for him." Jeongguk laughs while looking at Jimin.
Jimin once again fakes a smile because that's the only thing that he can do right now. If only the words Jeongguk said weren't a joke,he'd stop Taehyung's car for an hour and ran like crazy to Jeongguk
"Hey! Why don't we go to our cafe together? This might be the last day we go there because I'll go to Bali tomorrow to prepare for our wedding ceremony." Jeongguk sounds so excited.
Jimin doesn't know what hurt him more,knowing that he won't be seeing Jeongguk again,or hearing the way Jeongguk said "Our cafe". But he tries his best to pretend everything is fine and normal.
"Ugh,sorry,I can't. My mom is gonna be at my apartment soon. I can't leave her alone. And goodluck for you two's wedding." Jimin lies
Jeongguk seems upset "Okay then. I really wish we could visit that cafe for the last time because I'm gonna miss you so much."
"Sorry." That's the only word that Jimin can say right now.
"That's okay. We'll meet again because we're a really fated friends. We have to leave now. until we meet again,Jimin."
Jeongguk and Taehyung are waving at Jimin. They're getting further away as they cross the road.
And Jimin is still standing on the same spot,staring at Jeongguk who slowly dissappears until he totally can't be seen.

Jimin always got prepared for everything. He always prepared an umbrella although the weather is nice. Because he knew that weather is often playing with people.
But Jimin never got prepared for this thing. He didn't know it would end up like this. He did know that life could be so playful sometimes. But he never imagined life would throw him a joke that is as funny as this.
