⚠️Sorry for the rant but:
It's crazy how this country only stands with a marginalized group of people, ex : "We Stand with Orlando, Paris, students at Mizzou.." when something unfortunate happens to them. And then politicians get on TV & social media (because the newest& most popular polictical agenda is all about image!-- but thats a rant for another day) and talk about how America as a country and as a people don't stand for these acts of violence and hatred. But where was all this passion and support when, for example, people of color or the LGBTQ community are/is trying to rally support for their causes and grievances, and all politicans, congressmen, local representatives and others in power turn a blind eye? Because it's not at the top of the "agenda" at that very moment. An "agenda" that was written by a Congress which has shut down at least once since Obama has been in office because they couldn't agree. Isnt that what y'all were elected and furthermore are paid to do? When are these people's lives going to be important? Why do we only get support after the bodies start to pile up? And now with this coming election being the first I am able to vote in, y'all want to elect a biggot like Trump? Nah. I'll pass. Sorry America, but MY LIFE and the lives of my friends and family come second to no agenda. Political or otherwise.
