It had been one month since you started going out with Jebidiah Labrum, but you thought that you two were actually going well, until ...
He took you to that new fancy restaurant down the street. The one you've always wanted to go to.
You didn't know what he was doing ... or why he was acting so cold tonight.
"Jeb?" you asked. "Is everything all right?"
"Of course," he smiled. "Why wouldn't it?"
You tried to shrug it off, but you couldn't help but feel like he was lying.
"Fine ..." he sighed. He gave you a pained look. "I'm jealous. You always gave Mustang that lovesick puppy look ... and you never gave it to me. Not once."
You did a double-take. He was jealous of that arrogant, stuck-up, shallow, self-absorbed bastard?! And since when did you give him those looks?! "Er ... Well, I hate to say this, but I need to go ..." You quickly thought up a believable lie. "I have a new job interview at that cafe tomorrow morning, and I need to get some sleep."
"Then how about I walk you home?" he asked. "Just to make sure you get home safely."
You sighed and nodded, standing up. "I see no harm in that."
As you approached your house, you still couldn't shake the uneasy feeling. What was Jeb doing? And was that Roy's car that just drove by your house?
As you stepped onto your porch, Jeb sighed. "I've been wanting to do something since we first met," he sighed.
You turned and looked up at him, excitement glittering in your eyes. would he finally kiss you? "What is it?" you asked.
"This."
You staggered back as the bullet went right through you. You fell to the ground. Shot on your own front porch ... how could you have let your guard down?!
He looked over you, as if to make sure you were dead. "Stupid human. You shouldn't have gone after Mustang. He doesn't need distractions like you." He changed his shape to a young guy ... wearing ... some form of miniskirt. He long, dark green, and spiky hair. "We Homunculi don't like fools like you."
You held your breath and let it out as he left.
"Shit ... Looks like ... We won't ... Have that ... Date ... on ... Fri ... day ..." you breathed. "Roy ..."
You could just see him now, his expression of pain and horror as he found you. You could
feel him pick you in his strong arms, the tears of grief rolling down his face. You could
hear his sobs as he grieved for you.But that wouldn't happen now. You were alone, dying ...
All thanks to 'Jeb', who was in league with these 'Homunculi'.
'
"I'm ... sorry ..." You took a shuddering breath, and everything faded.
