Nik's p.o.v

I race down the stairs and out the back door and straight into the woods. I shift to my wolf form which was white with black ears and a black tail, as well as a blackish back, only the tips of the back hair was covered in black. I run into my beta Jay, who is significantly smaller than I am, I look down at him and see the confusion in his eyes.

'She doesn't know what we are, or what she is' I say through our mindlink. His green eyes widen in shock' Sir how does she not know what she is? Hasn't she shifted yet?' He replies and my wolf gives a soft whimper as I reply 'I don't think so'. Jay comes closer to me and playfully starts to bite me on my neck. I roll my eyes but start our little battle, it was more like a fun way of training plus I needed to relax before going back to my mate.

Jay runs off and I chase after him pretending he's the rogue, my wolf starts to calm a little but only a little. How does one explain to their mate that their a werewolf and are your mate aaand to top it all off the Luna of this pack. She doesn't even know the ways of rules of our kind and now she has to be a leader of it.

My wolf let out a howl, he wanted to be with her but she didn't know how this was supposed to work and it will only scare her off. I run faster trying to get more distance between me and my mate, for her own safety. Only until I calmed my wolf down enough.
