I was sad that we hadn't got on so well with her parents but I was happy that Jodie was coming to Goswith. She seemed ok with living with her aunt and she would be starting at my high school.
The rest of the holiday flew by and I was soon on my way home and for once I couldn't wait to go back to school.
I had a picture of Jodie on my phone one that I took of me and her on that night we spent on the beach. She looked so peaceful and I was looking at her lovingly.
I had taken art in school so I decided to draw this and give it to her as a welcome present.
So on that night before the first day back at school I sat in my room my bedside lamp on and drew that picture of us.
Suddenly my phone beeped. I had a text from you.
Jodie: Please can you meet me at the Corner Shop on Right Street at 8:30?? J xx
Alex: Yeah I'll meet you there I can't wait to see you. A xx
I looked up at the roof that night and found it hard to sleep all that was going round in my mind was how lucky I was to have a girl like you.
