"Time to get up Jodie. Its your first day at Dundee High" Aunt Fay called as she pushed open my bedroom door and pulled open the curtains.
"Morning Aunt Fay" I smiled as I got out of bed. I went to the shower then dressed for school. I had a bit of time to spare so I curled my hair so that it formed simple ringlets around my petite face.
"Jodie breakfast" Aunt Fay shouted up the stairs.
"Coming Aunt Fay" I called back as I picked up my pencil case and put it in my bag. Then I ran down the stairs and dumped my bag by the front door.
Once I had finished breakfast I picked up my bag and started out to the Corner Shop. From where I live it only takes ten minutes to get there. I left at 8:15 so I should get there five minutes early.
I knew that it takes Alex twenty minutes to get there because he text me last night. From that I knew that we lived half an hour away from each other.
As I rounded the corner I saw Alex and when I saw him I ran straight into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. Then he looked deeply into my eyes. The next thing I knew was his lips were on mine and I was melting into his warm embrace.
There were definitely sparks and I knew he felt them to.
