It was the first day back after my families funerals. I'd been off shcool for two weeks greaving the loss of my family.
I was meeting Alex at the Corner Shop at the same time.
"Hey baby. I was thinking that we should skip school today so that I can cheer you up. We should go and sit in the park" Alex whispered in my ear as I hugged her.
"You are turning me into a bad girl" I replied as I grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the park.
We lay on the grass and talked everything through which was a real relief for me.
"How about we get cake for lunch" Alex suggested and that is just what we did.
At 5:00 Alex walked me home. It took us an hour because we walked really slowly. It should have taken us half an hour. We arrived at my house at 6:00.
"I'll see you tomorrow babe" Alex called.
"Alex thanks for today. I think I can finally put the past behind me and move on" I called back.
Alex ran back up the path and hugged me. He kissed my lips passionately.
"I've missed that so much" Alex breathed through kisses.
"Me too" I breathed back.
"I'll see you tomorrow" Alex called as he walked down the path and started his way home.
