"How could do this to us, the family that raised you?!" my mom screamed at me.

"Well, it's done so there isn't anything that I can do about it now. Plus, you haven't treated me much better, " I said we a smirk on my face.

"Get in the car now!" mom said, reaching into her pocket.

I ran to the car and jumped in, wanting to get out of her awful grip on my life. The bitch or my ex-mom marched after me with anger, started the car, and drove. Her anger seemed to give her a lead foot, pushing the car faster than it had gone in years.  Holding on for dear life for what seemed like just a few minutes, but realizing it had been thirty minutes when I looked down at the clock. Once out of the town I had grown up in, the car's brakes squealed to a halt

"Out!" she demanded. Following orders, I leaped out of the car before she could change her mind. In the blink of an eye, she was gone, taking my family, friends, and future with her.

 That's how I got here.
