I am Matthew, Matthew Fross I live on a farm with my parents when I first met Amanda. I was driving home from getting supplies in town when I saw a girl on the side of the road. My parents had always told me never to pick someone up on the side of the road no matter situation. This girl was different she had short red hair, gentle hazel-green eyes, dark blue ripped jeans, and a deep red fitted shirt. There was no one else around and thought just maybe if I hurry I could take her home in time and not have my parents knowing where I was. At first, I drove past knowing that my parents would absolutely kill me. Though I may have been crazy a back up to where she was standing. I muttered quietly trying not to lose myself in her eyes, "Hi, I'm Matthew. Do you need a lift somewhere?" Though my try failed miserably, lost completely in her eyes I didn't hear what she said but just nodded and she got in. Panicking because I had not heard what she said I decided to ask again stupidly where she was going. "Where ever you are going I guess. I just got kicked out of my house, so no place to go," she said. "Well..." I had no idea what to do because my parents would kill me for picking her up, but I could not just leave her. With an idea that I hoped worked I explained, "Well you see that creates a problem for me," I said thinking out loud.
"How so?" the girl asked.
"Well you see I can't really take back to my house as a random person that I picked up off the side of the road. What if for right now you pretend to be a that is helping me out with school until we can find something better to say?" I said hoping that she would agree.
"I guess that will have to work I don't have any place else to go. Always it will be fun. Like our little game," she said with what seemed like a good attitude.
"Yeah, I guess so," I said with not as enthused.
