Ally

Ally hides her tears as Stevie leaves her room. She has just told the biggest lie of her life. 'I don't love you anymore.' She keeps hearing her voice saying the words over and over again, like a scratched vinyl or one of these annoying toys for kids who repeat everything you say. 'I don't love you anymore.' Ally wonders how she even managed to get the words through her lips. She thinks of all the things she could have said but they all sound so extremely wrong. 'I love you but I can't be with you' or 'It is not you, it's all my fault'. 'It just didn't work out, but I hope we will stay friends' is also a good one. Ally is so tired of all that. She just wants to go to sleep and sleep and sleep and don't wake up till everything fell into place. She feels empty inside, just like something owns her and sucks all the joy and happiness out of her and all other feelings she ever felt. She's slowly dying inside. She lost her fight, she'll fall back into that deep black hole that was her home for so many months. She welcomes the depression as the good old friend it is. It will be quick and she won't feel anything. The words and thoughts in her head begin to slow down the circles they're flying. 'I don't love you anymore' For the last time, quiet, barely to be heard. Suddenly it's all quiet in Ally's head but she doesn't feel relieved. She feels and will feel absolutely nothing from this point on. Her eyes close and she sinks into a deep dreamless sleep. When she wakes up, she'll be a different person.
