Okay so I have no clue what to name the one on the left??? Like he's gonna be a total math nerd so... lemme just go over the entire world that these guys belong in first because I didn't do it before.
Basically, Oliver and his friend over here are dead. As explained by a guide that welcomes you, you are in a place commonly referred to as "Rehab" and you are there because you gave your life in the impression that the world would be better off without you. Oliver is there because he pushed a girl out of the way of a truck, but he had tonnes of other problems besides that anyways. Rehab is not heaven, it is not purgatory or hell either. The guide I originally drew also said that he was in there for suicide, meaning that a person doesn't have to be in there for doing something good.
At first, Oliver is hella confused, but the guide explains that their eyes are white because they lost a part of their eyes in relation to the the condition of their soul being. If you're alive, your eyes are normal. If you're in heaven, you lose your pupils, if you're in rehab you are down to just your sclera. Hell means that your eyes are completely black. Each thing makes it so that you can see the medium you're in. People in rehab can't see into heaven, and since their scleras are pure, they cant see hell either. Some special people can see rehab and heaven, bit that's very rare, since their pupils are also a form of restriction. And the wings are because they're dead.
Anyone who is in rehab is there until their soul is no longer "tainted," meaning that they eventually forget why they let themselves die in the first place, so that they are less likely to do it in their next life.
I think I'll go over Oliver and his friend next chapter if I draw them again
