Yeah so since all of my characters look super different I'm just gonna take y'all through my art process (1 - try 2 - cry 3 - die 4 - repeat)

btw I'm drawing Moriah

I do the whole t thingy just because I need the extra practice, and then do light outlines of the skin and skull

I erased the t thingy and put in the ear, eyes, eyebrows, and then changed her nose a lil bit

Next is the basic lines of the hair, I don't make hair very choppy, especially for Moriah because of how unruly and unique it is compared to my other characters

Now is the time to put any clothes on, then fill the hair in a little bit more, erasing the skull lines

Now the fun part: lining. I have a really nice set of Prismacolor markers that I use along with some misc Marvy ink pens. The black Prismas  come in .005 (which I use for eyes and other fine details), .3 (mostly for skin if the character's skin isn't humanlike or for everything in small drawings). .5 (clothes for small works, misc. for large works), .8 (clothes in large works), a brush tip (which has sadly died), and a chisel tip (used for the lines that cut off the bottom of my art). The dark brown ones are the ones I use for skin, they come in .005 (small works) and a brush nib (large works like this one). I used the prismas for the clothes, skin, and eyes, while I used one of of my marvy ones for the hairband. Her hair was done entirely with my 100 Black COPIC that I love using oh so much.

Finally, color everything. I did her eyes with the skin toned prisma and my Copper copic,  and her skin with copics as well. Lay down the light color before the dark color so that there isn't any unwanted blending. Since I wasn't smart and do stupid shit, I seriously advise to do the skin before the hair. I had to put a patch on the area where her forehead is because I was dumb and let the black ink bleed all over the place. I also used the lightest gray I have to shade under the collar of her shirt.

Added bonus - EDIT THE FUCKING HELL OUT OF IT TO MAKE IT LOOK KIND OF DECENT
