Jake's POV
Grace what do I do run don't run,"I asked yelling
Run definitely Run,"she yells fear on her voice
Wasting no time I grabbed Morgan and ran. We ducked for cover under the roots of a tree. I was in first Morgan right behind me but she wasn't fast enough to get out of the way and the thantor clawed her leg. Morgan screamed with pain. Rage igniting in my chest I fired at the beast. It yelped in pain and tore the gun from me and scratched at the roots trying to get us
Morgan whimpered in pain. ,"Morgan trust me this is going to hurt but,"not finishing my sentence I got her slun onto my shoulder and I took off. The thantor right on my heels I sped over the landscape till something yanked me back. I dropped Morgan and she yelped with pain. The stupid thantor had me by my pack and was shaking me like a rag doll. I dropped to my knees grabbed More and continued my crazed gallop threw the forest. We stopped at a cliff I turned and saw the thantor closing in I jumped with no hesitation into the river. The water hit me hard forcing me to the bottom but with a lot of struggle I made to the surface.
I looked around to see Morgan. I didn't so I dived back in a found her and brought her ro the surface. We rested on a log. Morgan gasped with breath,"Jake,"she said
Yeah,","remind me to knock your lights out when we get out of this mess,"she said annoyed. Yeah no problem,"I said getting out of the water. I started making a spear with my knife which thankfully I didn't lose. Morgan restrung her bow and checked to see how many arrows she had. We started walking away from the lake no wanting to see the thantor again. As Morgan limped behind me I took the lead in case of anything happening. We eventually stopped and made camp Morgan fell asleep after wrapping her leg with a giant leaf. I made a fire and stood on guard. Around midnight I heard yips and howls that sounded like wolves,"but that can't be I'm on Pandora,"I thought to my self. Morgan woke and looked around. She frowned when she saw the fire,"Jake put the fire out NOW,"she said getting up
