I closed my eyes the moment his voice came through my ears, my eyes skipping a tear - which I absolutely had to wipe away.
"Hey..." Niall stuttered, walking close to me, "What you up to?"
Oh, no. He doesn't really want to spend time with me, does he? "What do you want, Niall?"
It's so heartbreaking. Letting go of a dream.
He crossed his arms, nervously. "I want to know about you," he said, "You know about me.. Didn't you say how could you not know me?"
"I don't know you." I lied.
He smirked, "You sure you don't know me?"
I shivered, my heart hurts. No, I'm not sure.
"All I know is that you are Niall Horan from.. One Direction?" And that you're Irish who likes Golf and Football, and also, who has a nephew called Theo and a brother called Greg.. And some other endless stuff..
"That's all you know?"
"And that you're Irish?" I couldn't.
He laughed.
He laughed that laugh that always made my heart skip several beats.
"Okay, okay." He sighed, "I still haven't changed my mind."
"It's too late.." I am the one who's saying it's late, wow.
"What? It's only 9." He informed.
I held my purse and turned around looking at the city. It's so dark here, there's just a dimmed light coming from the club. The streets are empty.
I still remember the first day I came here. Then, I felt like a foreign who is new to everything. This calmness was so strange to me, for I was never used to this. Even at night.
I finally looked at him again, "So, what'd you say?" Niall asked.
"Say about what?" I'm a fool.
"Wanna go?"
"I don't know.."
He opened his hands, waiting for mine.
That's what I always wanted.
I took his hand. I'm just going to live the dream.
.
"What's on your mind?"
"Food? Do you have something else in mind?"
I'll go wherever you take me. "No." I smiled.
"I'll go for some chicken and stuff." He said, driving through the driveway.
"Sounds great," I said, "I'm actually starving."
"Do you want to go for something classic, like a dinner or something?"
Would he really take me to dinner? I laughed inside; that's more that expected. But wait, "Fast food is always the solution." I joked.
He chuckled, "True!"
And he headed somewhere named Five Guys. It looks pretty cool, I guess. I haven't seen it around, but it actually seems well known since Niall knew it.
"I want a chicken burger and fries," Niall ordered, and I ordered the same besides a can of coke.
Niall payed for my meal being the gentleman he is. I was about to pay indeed; I mean I'm not a pauper, but I couldn't disagree.
"Wanna eat out or here?" He asked.
"Whatever you want.."
