Midnight Munchies

There I was, sitting on the wing of a plane, eating pudding. My mouth was in pudding heaven, even though the wing on the plane I was sitting on, was creaking like crazy, threatening to kill me. (Of course it didn't actually say that though, because it's a plane.) "This is the life, Taco." I said shoveling more pudding into my mouth. "Taco." Taco said, as he sat upon my shoulder, an act i've grown used to.

Once I had finished my sixth cup, which isn't actually a lot for me, I turned around to get another batch. A batch consisted of two pudding cups, but two is way better than just one, am I right? The pudding made me so hyper that I swung my legs over the side of the wing...probably not a good idea though. (But hey, i'm full of not-so-good ideas)  When I turned around though, I wasn't expecting the sight I was about to see, it was horrible! My eyes widened to the width of alien saucers. It was as if I turned around and saw six stalks of broccoli,my worst nightmare.

"Awwwwww!" I let out a gut-wrenching scream. It was as if my whole world fell apart. Why did this happen to me?! Why was all my pudding gone!? Yup, you heard me correct, all my pudding was gone...just gone. Tragic...am I right? Of course i'm right. I wonder who will plan the funeral...Taco probably.

The only thought that repeated in my mind was, I need more! I must find more! And that's exactly what I was going to do, get more pudding. But how? I've traveled much too far to turn back for the glorious Piggly Wiggly. My heart fluttered at the thought of all those shelves of junk food, calling out to me. I searched for answers inside my head, but couldn't think of any. That's why I turned to the smartest bird in the world for advice.

"What should I do, Taco?" I asked him, he dug his talons further in my shoulder. That's when I got it, all thanks to Taco, who spurred my inspiration by doing...absolutely nothing.

"Oh my glob, I have the perfect idea Taco! You're the best parrot friend ever! What i'll do is, since everyone is dead, I'll just break into some guy's house and steal their pudding! Genius! Every sane person has pudding in there house. Oh wait, is it stealing if the person's dead? Or is it grave-robbing? But I'm not taking from a grave..." I sat and pondered that for a while, before deciding that it was stupid, and I'll blame somebody else. Taco! I'll blame Taco! (Sorry Taco)

I sat there for a while, enjoying looking at the midnight stars, building up my determination for the quest. If you really think about it though, the sky is like a giant taco. (Not many people actually think that, but they're all dead so who cares.)

The actual sky is like a taco shell, the stars are like the meat, and the constellations are like all that other jazz people add on top, like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, all the fancy foods. My last thought before exiting the wing of the plane and heading to my motorcycle with Taco, was Man, I really am smarticles. And with a smile on my face, stretching from ear to ear, I got on my motorcycle, with Taco next to me (no worries, I put him in the cage), and we sailed to the first house we saw, which I assumed is only a couple miles away, Hello pudding!

I finally saw signs of life...and by life I mean a house, because there is no life anymore, duh! The house was all big and rich looking, a perfect haven for pudding to thrive. I was in such a good mood that I broke into song, which surprisingly happens a lot if you haven't noticed.

"Don't stop! Believe in, never give up on that pudden'!" I admit, I changed the lyrics a little. "Are you excited, Taco?" I asked him, after my random flash mob was over, and as I marched forward after parking my motorcycle. "Taco." Taco replied, and I could hear the anticipation in his squawk. (Just kidding, I have absolutely no idea what he just said, I hope it was good though)
