Chapter 1

(Y/n) P.O.V.

"(Y/n), it's the fifth time you peeked out in the window, what are you waiting for? You might get late to school at this rate" I snapped my head back at my mother, she had hair eyebrow raised in a questioning look,

'But senpai is still not going out of his house' is what I was gonna say, but I thought better and realized that I'll probably gonna get scolded if I said that.

So instead I replied, "Just a few more minutes mom, let me finish my sandwich first"

I directed my attention back to my peanut butter sandwich, and kept a sideways glance towards the window that overlooked senpai's door.

"Ha! Who are you kidding (y/n)? The reason you kept on looking outside is because you're waiting for takum---"

"I'll be going. Bye mom, Aoi" I glared at my stupid older brother as I grabbed my book bag and my bento on the kitchen counter.

I opened the front door and stepped outside. Staring at senpai's door again, I leaned on my house's wall.

Aoi is my older brother. He is Oshiro-senpai's best friend, but he had to transfer to another middle school because he was offered a scholarship, which was the biggest surprise ever since he is far from smart.

Unfortunately for me, he knows about my crush towards his blonde-haired friend, and if he tells mom it would be the end of the world for me.

Mom insists that I shouldn't have a boyfriend or a crush 'til I'm in high school.

But if senpai accepts my confession, I'll just have to hide it from her fufufu.

I was startled when I suddenly heard a click. The door I've been keeping my watch on suddenly opened, and out emerged the purple-eyed boy I've been waiting for.

I ran up to him as he locked his door,

"Goodmorning Oshiro-senpai!" I cheerfully greeted him,

"What's the rush, senpai?"
I slightly tilted my head to the side, wondering why senpai is making such hasty movements,

"You're still here?! Do you know what time it is? We'll be late! Come on!" Before I could process what he said, he suddenly grabbed my wrist and dashed to Sakurami middle school.

Wait...

HE GRABBED MY WRIST AND RUN!!! WAAAHHHH, MY SENPAI GRABBED MY WRIST! OMG OMG WE ARE LIKE IN A MANGA OR MOVIE OR SOME SH*T, THIS IS... THIS IS HEAVEN!

I blushed furiously as I looked at his hand clamped onto my wrist,

Before I knew it we arrived at school, and senpai released my wrist,

Holding my wrist to my chest, I continued to blush as I reminisced the warmth that enveloped it a few moments ago.

"What the hell (y/n)?! it's no time to be blushing! we better sneak into class now before Ms. Yuu--" Senpai was cut short when a voice suddenly spoke,

"Before I what?" Senpai and my face paled as we directed our gaze towards Ms. Yuu.

"N-nothing sensei" I stuttered,

"Oh, I'm afraid it won't be nothing. You two will spend the entire morning period in detention. To the library, you two." Ms. Yuu sternly said,

"Yes, ms." We managed our way to the library and Ms. Lee ordered us to sort out books and put them back to shelves.

"That horse, she's so strict! We're only 2 minutes late!" Senpai exclaimed, which surprised me, I had never seen or heard him insult someone.

I smiled unknowingly,

"Oi! Why are you smiling stalker?" Senpai irritatingly asked me,

"What? Oh, it's just that you are still mischievous senpai. It's like when we were kids, you insult people openly. I thought you're just serious and cool now." I looked away when I felt my cheeks burning,

I stole a glance at senpai when he didn't say anything and saw that he, too, was blushing.

Awww I hope I brought my camera with me, it would be nice to take a picture.

"You two! Get back to moving! You're not done yet" Ms. Lee bellowed.

Senpai rolled his eyes, and I smiled as we continued sorting books and putting them back to shelves.
