Chapter 2

After our detention, Oshiro-senpai and I went our separate ways to attend our respective classrooms. When I arrived the teacher, Ms. Sensu, just glanced at me and continued writing math problems in the board, looks like she was informed already on why I was not present,

Taking my seat at the last row beside my friend Mayumi, I took out my maths book,

"Hey (Y/n), how's your first time in detention?"

"It was a blast! Oshiro-senpai and I talked for the longest time since we were children! Oh Yumi-chan, if I could, I would want to be in detention with him again!" I answered her enthusiastically,

I was expecting her to say something like 'you really are so obsessed over him' or 'stop being so creepy', but I was surprised when she just gave me a weird, almost sympathetic, look and directing her attention back to her notebook again,

"Yumi-chan? Is there something wrong" although I'm pretty sure there is, based on your reaction,

"Ummm..." Yumi-chan hesitated then sighed, while I watched her with a worried gaze.

"Well...?"

It took her a few minutes until she finally spoke,

"I guess it would be best if I tell you now," She muttered quietly,

This made my interest reach sky high at this point, especially since Yumi isn't the type of girl to speak softly, unless if it's really serious,

"What is it?"

"Ms. (l/n) and ms. Sakura, perhaps there is something you want to share with the class?" Yumi and I jumped on our seats when Ms. Sensu's voice boomed, and all our classmate's heads whipped in our direction,

"N-no Ms. Sensu, we're sorry" I replied with a blush,

Ms. Sensu turned to the board again, and I released a deep breath. I opened my book and took out a pen, when a piece of folded paper went it's way to my desk. I looked at Yumi, and she was scrribling her notes again. Taking the folded paper under my desk to read it, I looked at our teacher first before opening it,

My eyes widened and tears threatened to spill,

(y/n), I'm so sorry, but Oshiro-senpai and Hirai-senpai is dating, it's all over school. Stop chasing him (y/n), I don't want you hurt than you already are now. I'm really sorry.
