//Dan

The bright led lights on the front of the store lit up dreary London like a Christmas tree. You can almost smell the fragrance coming from the store three feet away. I guess I'm kinda excited to get candles. I looked down at my shoes as I walked closer to the store entrance. Suddenly I was interrupted by a rush of pain starting from the top of my head to my neck.
"Ow."
"Ow."
Me and the stranger said in unison. He must've been coming out of the store as I was going in. Since I was looking down we bumped heads. I hope he's not as mean like most British people here. I really don't want to have to cough up £20. I looked up from my shoes and was met by a shocking sight. A slight gasp left my mouth as I was met with arctic blue eyes glaring into mine. His hair was so black it was almost frightening.
"I-I'm very sorry sir." I managed to stutter out.
He chuckled,"It's fine, you should look up more though or you might start growing down rather then up."
The seriousness in this guys tone made
me want to laugh. Was he serious?
"Um alright." I say nervously.
He extended his arm out, "My name is Phil, yours?"
At that moment my mind went blank. I sat there a stared at the Raven haired boy for a second until finally shaking his hand.
"Dan."
"That's a nice name. I'm sorry for bumping into you. Can I take you for coffee or something as an apology?"
I was flattered by his generosity. In all my years of living in London I've never met someone so nice, even out of London.
"You don't have to do that sir- er Phil, I'm fine."
"Nah I want to, come on!"
Suddenly He grabbed my hand and took me to our destination. I felt an shiver ride up my arm. And for the first time in forever,
I smiled.
