Chapter 5: The Legacy

Britney's POV:

After driving for about 10 minutes, we arrived at this quaint little café.

"Are we eating here?" I ask. "Yes, if that's okay with you?" Andy replies. I look at him to see he is looking back at me. "Of course" I smile. He smiles back at me before hopping out of the car and coming around to my side to open my door for me. (Even though I was quite capable of doing it myself, I appreciate the gesture) "Why thank you" I smile at Andy. He links arms with me and we make our way inside the café.

Andy unlinks his arm from mine and grabs my hand instead guiding me to a table near the back. Andy and I sit across from each other and stare down at our menus.

A waitress comes over soon to take our orders. "What will it be today kids?" The elderly woman asks. "Just the egg and bacon sandwich please" I say to the lady. "I'll have the same" Andy smiles. She smiles back and says she'll be right back with our orders.

Andy's POV:

While we were waiting for the food, I decided to get to know her a little better.

"So Britney, tell me about yourself" I say to her. She smiles before saying "There's really not much to know.."

"There's gotta be something" I reassure her. She takes a deep breath before speaking. "Well, my full name is Britney Lorraine Porch. I hate my name.-" I cut her off quickly. "I think it's a beautiful name." She blushes before continuing. "I'm in my 12th year of school, I only got 1 term left. Right now I'm on holidays and I go back to school tomorrow. My parents ignore me all the time, I basically have to raise myself.."

I can see her eyes welling up with tears. I grab her hand from across the table to reassure her that it's fine.

"Um, on a happier note.. My favourite bands are, of course Black Veil Brides, sleeping with sirens, pierce the veil, motionless in white, asking alexandria, blood on the dance floor, I see stars, falling in reverse, and many many more. I love every music genre. My favourite movies are Nightmare before Christmas, warm bodies, etc. I love reading! My favourite colours are blue, black, purple and green, my favourite show is the walking dead and yeah.. That's about it I guess" she says. I can see in her eyes that there's something she's not telling me but I decide to let it go.

"What about you?" She asks. I cough a little to clear my throat. "Well uh.. My full name is Andrew Dennis Biersack, My parents names are Chris and Amy, I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin, but soon moved to Cincinnati Ohio. I used to be overweight, but I basically lost it at 13 years old, I grew up in a Roman Catholic home, but I'm not religious anymore.. I was bullied as a child.." I pause to take a deep breath. Britney squeezes my hand and smiles reassuringly at me, I smile weakly at her before continuing.

"Most of my songs are inspired by my time as a child. I was born on December 26th, 1990. I attended Ohio high school of performing arts. And I'm the only remaining member of black veil brides..that's about it haha" I chuckle nervously.

"I think you have an interesting lifestyle" Britney says. I grin at her and say "As do you". She giggles which makes me smile again.

Soon the waitress came back with our food. "Here you go lovelies" the older lady says. "Thank you" we both say.

This date is going better then I expected. I think I can really get used to this girl. She's definitely worth it.
