Chapter 8: Youth and Whiskey

Chapter 8:

Andy's POV:

It had probably been an hour since Britney left and I was already missing her. I was sitting on the couch with the boys just watching some random TV show when I got a call from an unknown number.
"Hello?" I answered curiously.
"Hello, is this Andy Biersack?" The lady asks.
"Yes, who is this?"
"Hello Mr. Biersack I have called because we have someone at the hospital here and you were the first person on her contacts list. Her name is Britney"
"Oh-Oh god! What happened to her??" I shout frantically, I could feel my eyes swell up with tears.
"Please calm down sir, she has been in a car crash and went flying out the windscreen of her car. She is at the hospital now so I'll need you to come down so we can gather some more information" she says calmly.
"O-okay I'll be r-right there" I say and hang up.
Then I burst into tears. God I'm such a wuss. The boys all come and hug me. "What happened Andy?" CC asks softly. "Britney- c-car cr-crash" I stutter out.
"Oh my god" Jake says shocked.
"Let's get down there!" Ashley says. "I'll drive" Jinxx says.

Ashley's POV:

Andy has been crying the whole way to the hospital. I really feel bad for him, he was just starting to like this girl..

We finally reached the hospital and Andy jumped out. We followed soon after. We walk into the hospital lobby and see Andy talking to the front desk lady. "NO I HAVE TO SEE HER" he shouts.
"Sir, I'm sorry but she's not allowed visitors at the moment plus she's going into surgery soon"
"At least tell me her condition!"
"That's not my job sir, I'm sorry" the lady says.
"NOT YOUR JOB?! YOUR-"
I went up to Andy and grabbed his arm. "Andy stop making a scene and sit down" I say through gritted teeth.
Andy reluctantly sits down and puts his head in his hands.

After a few hours of waiting, the doctor finally comes out. "People here for Britney?" He asks. I tap Andy's shoulder and he gets up and goes to talk to the doctor. I watch his every move.
His face turns into one of relief and I smile. I look towards Jinxx, Jake and CC and they smile too.
Andy comes back and tells us what he said.
"He said she will live, she's awake but in a lot of pain, she's allowed one visitor at a time" Andy says.
"Can I go?" I ask. They all nod so I get the room number from the lady and then make my way to Britney's room.

As soon as I walk in there my eyes start tearing up a bit. It seems she's got a bandage around her head, her leg is hanging up in a cast and she's got a bandage around her wrist and shoulder.
I walk over to her and sit In the seat. She looks over at me and smiles.
"Hey ash" she says weakly. "Hey kiddo, how you doing?" I ask. "Really sore, but happy that I'm alive, and pissed off at myself for driving home being as tired as I was" she says regretfully. "The good thing is that you're alive" I smile. "Yeah I guess so" she smiles back.

Andy's POV:

After Ashley gets back, Jinxx goes in. Then Jake then CC.
Now it's my turn. I go up the her room and walk in.
"Oh Britney" I tear up. She looked like she was in so much pain, and I said nothing was ever going to hurt her again, I'm such an idiot! This is all my fault.
As if reading my mind Britney said "it's not your fault"
I walk over to the seat and sit in it, grabbing her hand in the process and kissing it. She smiles weakly.
"It's my own stupid fault for driving home whilst I was tired" she says tearing up. "Hey hey, don't cry. Your alive and I'm so fucking happy about that, cause I don't know what I would do if you weren't" I say thoughtfully. She smiles and opens her arms slowly.
I chuckle and lean into them hugging her softly. I just want to hold her like this forever.
Yes I'll admit, I have a crush on her. But who cares?!
I will take her on a date after she gets out of hospital.

"Thank you for being my saviour" Britney says. I smile really wide and hug Britney again. "I'll always be here for you Brit" I say back. And I wasn't lying.
