They had talked about the most casual things, the weather, the club, the wedding, funny anecdotes about the genius nephew and of course, about the current news.

They even touched a more personal side by talking about the Little Prince book

Now Lillian is running out of topics to talk to. Three hours with a guy is a long time for casual talk, at some point, talking about more personal things is inevitable.

That was the moment her attention get drawn to his apartment, or more accurately, his bachelor's pad.

Except that this isn't a normal rich business executive bachelor's pad. "This is a model planes exhibit."

"Its just my collection. I've been into model planes since my dad gave me one to assemble on my 7th birthday."

She was fascinated. She knew how guys are with their toys. Her brother had his own collection of old records and it was chaotic when she tried to disarrange it once.

That memory made her smile.

He decided not to pry and interrupt this image of her. He's lucky enough that finally she seems to be loosening herself and beginning to be comfortable with him.

Until she sneezed.

He felt terrible and attended to her every need after that, just like a host is to a guest.

Her wet clothes on the washer, she was forced to take a bath and warm herself at his sofa, clothed in his outgrowned shirt and oversized pants.

"Drink this."

She was handed a cup of hot milk. She looked up at the newly-bathed Marcus standing beside her, "I thought we're ready for wine by now?"

He wiped his hair with a towel distractedly to remove his eyes from his clothes on hers. He barely glanced at the small skin of her shoulder slightly exposed because of the oversized shirt on her and he felt his face warm up.

'Sweet torture', he exclaims in his mind.

She noticed him and set the shirt to rights. She smiled at him, "Thanks for the milk."

"No problem."

She looked around. She noticed that this very big sofa is the only furniture here in his living room. She looked at him and she saw his hesitance to sit beside her in the sofa. She wanted to laugh.

"You should think about putting more furniture here if its difficult to receive female guests here for you."

He chuckled, "This is the first time I realized it was this difficult."

"Its just your mind, Marcus. You can't really do something to me." She saw uncertainty on his eyes. "Besides, if you do, I would stop you. I may not look like it but I'm a Judo blackbelter."

He exclaimed, "What? Really? With a small body like that?"

"I lost a lot of weight because of Judo."

And she proved it to him with a perfect tackle that removed all the air in his lungs for a second.

He chuckled. "Okay. You have my permission to resort to Judo anytime I step out of line."

"Excellent."

When they sit in the sofa and suddenly laughed together, Lillian already knew she would be comfortable here, talking about personal topics and all that.
