We left the room with all eyes staring us down. I gave most of the dudes a "it ain't even like that" look but they just shook there heads. Once we got out of the building I sighed in annoyance.
"You okay?", Angela asked nudging my arm.
"I'm good just most of the guys are a little annoying at times."
She gave me a nod in pointed down a street.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked looking around only because I never been near certain places. She smiled and just kept walking. We walked for about 20 minutes til we arrived at an Thai Restaurant.
"So this is the surprise?"
"Yep, after you."
We walked in and took our seats.
"Order anything you'll like, my treat."
I smiled, "Are you trying to bribe me with food so that I go easy on you in the business?".
She smirked, "No Mr.Brown, just giving us time to get to know each other" .
I smiled, "Thanks".
The waiter came and took our order, she had barbeque baked chicken with peanut sauce and spring rolls on the side, I had seaweed soup with shrimp rice an the drinks we ordered were Pina Coladas.
The food was delicious, and I was really enjoying it til she broke the silence.
"So Dustin...?"
I looked up as she wiped her mouth with a napkin, I dabbed myself and cleared my throat.
"Wassup?"
"What made you want to become a model?"
"Well every since I was 15, people told me how attractive my face and body was and thought I should look into it."
She nodded.
"So what's your story?", I asked staring her deep into the eyes
She shifted in her seat.
"Well like your story, at a young age I was told my beauty should be used for good".
I nodded and she continued
"So once I got this gig, I was really excited and I also was told you were really pissed about me coming to y'all company."
I nodded and leaned in over the table, "Well I never had a partner, all the gigs I was given only needed one guy and besides our Company is all male models so when they told me I had a partner, I was pissed then found out you were a female still was pissed cause I just..."
She nodded, "Go on, I'm not sensitive."
"I just didnt wanna catch feelings for you seeing as I have a girl."
She chuckled and folded her arms, "Dustin, I told you I'm not attracted to you, this is my job and no man will take away my focus but good to know your taken."
I smirked, "Alright Ms.Cantarra."
Suddenly the waiter came back in offered us some hard core adios drinks mixed with sake, we denied it only because of work tomorrow.
I laughed "Next time on our off days maybe we can return here in have those drinks", she nodded in placed the money in the check book than grabbed her purse, "Well its getting late and we have some shoot tomorrow, shall we head out?"
I smiled, "Yea, I'm beat anyway."
We got up and headed back towards the building and parted ways.
"See you tomorrow!", she called out, I gave her a wave and jumped into my car.
