Afterwards, Noel layed there sleep. I was tired to but needed to go find Angela. I fixed my clothes and headed out the door, I didnt mind Noel being there, it was our last day in that Hotel room and she was smart enough to let herself in, she could let herself out. I hurried down the stairs seeing as the elevator took too long. I asked around for Angela but no one has seen her. I felt bad, stupid even, I let a great woman walk out for my own selfish impatient needs. After asking around some more, I thought of the only place Angela could be before we left LA. The balcony. I rushed to the banquet area in out to the balcony looking for her but she wasn't there.
"She's gone Dustin".
That familiar voice.
"I see that Zari".
"No, I mean gone, she went to the airport about 2 hours ago".
I rubbed my face in shame.
"Why would she go without me?"
"She said something about you being no different from the other men who tried to woo her but sadly she thought maybe you were worth it, I guess not".
I sighed in leaned against the wall, suddenly Noel came walking from the elevator.
"Hey baby", she hugged me tight and kissed my cheek.
"Hey, uh Noel Zari, Zar Noel, my girlfriend". I swallowed hard at those words. They greeted one another and had a few drinks, afterwards me in Noel went heading to the airport on with our life.
After the dreadful pain of the flight, I dropped Noel at home and stayed on the road for some time to think.
I was so far in my thoughts I ended up near Fortune. I parked and noticed the lights were still on when our building closed at 8pm and it was 9:34pm. I got out in checked the doors. Locked. Then I noticed one of the janitors coming to the doors.
"Heey Mr.Notch how was LA?".
"Good good man uh who else is here with you, isn't the building suppose to be closed?".
"Yea but I'm helping the new chick out with moving into her new office, she's a fox ain't she, lucky you to be alone for 3 days with that one".
He nudged my arm and I halved smiled.
"Yeaa uh I'll see you tomorrow, night".
"Night Dustin".
I drove off not wanting to even face Angela, I'd spit in my face if I was her. I got to my spot, got in, in grabbed me a bottle of champagne. In minutes the whole bottle was empty. Damn I felt good. I almost was knocked out til my phone buzzed. Private call.
"Uh Hello".
"I heard you came by the building, no hello?".
Angela.
"Uh I just......"
I sighed feeling sick.
"I wasn't.....".
She sighed.
" Its cool Dustin, when I thought you were different, you turn out to be like evey other guy, have a good day!".
The click noise made my heart sink and then I was running to the toilet. I must of really cared cause I knew how to hold my liquor but my feelings were so mixed up I let everything out.
"Fuck". I rinsed my mouth with mint wash and decided to call Noel. I needed to fix my personal life before it was too late. She arrived around 12. Letting her in I thought the liquor was still bothering me but I was wrong. Noel stood in my house with only a trench coat on. "Damn'.
She was all over me til I took control.
" Noel we need to talk".
I sat at my bar rubbing my head.
"Why talk when you could be making me moan".
She gripped my jeans in began to unzip them. I snapped jumping up.
" Noel I didnt call you over for this!"
"Then why else would someone be called at 11?!!"
"Because we need to break up!".
Her eyes left mine.
"Dustin you don't mean this".
"I'm sorry but I think I do".
I walked to my door in held it open.
" You can go".
She shook her head, kissed my cheek and chuckled.
"Your going to regret this".
I sighed in closed the door in yet again, my heart sank.
