Exactly nine months after the death of Castiel Winchester.
Dean's point of view...

I sat my half finished beer down on the kitchen counter inside the bunker.

My mind goes back to that day, just like it does every day.

I had jumped after Cas, but I was too late.

Once I found his body, the police came. I don't remember what else happened, I felt too numb to process what had just happened. The love of my life was dead.
I do remember someone asking for his name and my relations to him. I told them his name was Castiel Winchester and that we were married.

I stopped hunting. I couldn't handle it.
Sam still does.
Him and I haven't talked for eight months.
I miss Cas, I want to be with him.
I found his journal on the bridge.
I never knew what be was thinking until now.
Cas did need a last name, so I gave him mine.
It fits him.

Making my way to my room, I find myself with a very small box-like container, which was black.
Opening it, I see the golden colored ring that would've had me make a really big promise to Cas.

Hearing a loud knock, I put the container back in its place and find my way to the bunker door. Opening it, I see a woman. She had long, wavy, blonde hair and looked at least twenty-five. The lady was carrying what looked like a small child, a baby most likely.

"Dean Winchester. I'm Heather and this is your gift from heaven." She smiles, handing the baby to me.
"You're an angel. What are you doing here? And where the hell is Cas?" My voice was hoarse.
I looked at the baby who resembled me when I was around six months old.
"I'm here because Cas commanded it. I, along with many others, still follow him. Cas told me that when he became human he would father a child with another man once he died. And he said you were that man."
Cas knew he was going to die.
But how did this happen?
Then it dawned on me.

Valentine's day.
