Katie and Alexis were both sat on a picnic blanket under a tree at the park. Katie was playing a game on her phone cuddled under her caregivers arm, and Alexis was reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Alexis is obsessed with Harry Potter.

Katie looked up and saw an ice cream truck with people lined up. "Mommy! Mommy can I get some ice cream. Please oh please!" Katie says pulling on her caregivers arm. 

Alexis chuckles as she places down her book and takes out three dollars. "You sure can Kitten, do you want me to go with you or can you do it?" 

Katie takes the money and shakes her head, "Tank you for the money Mommy but I a big girl, I got this." 

Alexis chuckles and says okay as she grabs her book and picks up where she left off and Katie gets up and goes into the line. As soon as she makes to the line a mother and her two teenagers cut in front of her. Katie being the person she is and not liking confrontation she stayed quite. And then another set of teenagers walked in front of her. 

"Um, excuse me." She said quietly but enough for the girl in front of her to hear her. 

The girl turns around and gives Katie an annoyed look. "What do you want?" 

"I here first and you cut in front of me." She says the childlike voice showing in her voice. 

"Did anyone ever teach you how to read," The girl said raising her voice to ensure that she drew a crowd. "And you're like 24 years old, what are you doing acting like a fucking four year old." 

Katie winced at those harsh words, especially cause she used a no no word. 

"Oh," She chuckles, "Let me guess you're into ageplay, and I bet that girl under that tree is your mommy or whatever you freaks call it, how bout you get the fuck out of here before something really bad happens."  

Katie looked around at the group of people that formed around her. Teenagers were giving her dirty looks and parents holding their kids back as if they were going to 'catch' something. Before Katie started bursting into tears she walked back over to her caregiver and did her best to put a smile on. 

"Hey little one, did you buy your ice cream?" She says getting up after putting the folded blanket in her bag and standing up.

Katie shook her head. "No, but can we goes homes mommy, I want nappies." 

Alexis looked at Katie for a second but nodded, she never wants nappies. "Okay Kitty." Alexis holds out her hand for Katie to grasp it. 

Instead of grabbing a hold of it Katie put her hands behind her back and walked silently beside her caregiver. As they walked out of the park the same group of people gave her and Alexis dirty looks made faces. Alexis was to caught up talking to someone on the phone but Katie saw them and it made her want to cry more.

Is she really a freak?

Alexis had been walking past Katie's room with a basket filled of laundry as she heard quiet sniffles from Katie's room. Alexis placed the basket by Katie's door and knock on the door as she opened it slightly. 

"Kitten." She says walking in. 

Quickly Katie wipes her tears and sits up. "Y-yeah." She says holding Connor favorite stuffie, Mr. Whiskers she always cuddles him when she's sad and Connor's not around. She cuddled with him the whole week that he was in the hospital. 

"Baby, are-are you crying." 

"N-no, not c-crying." She says her bottom lip trembling. 

"Katie, don't lie to mommy. Please tell me, are you crying?" 

Instantly Katie broke down into tears causing Alexis to wrap herself around her little and do everything she can to console her crying baby. Katie gripped and pulled trying to bring Alexis' body closer as if she was trying to hide herself away from all the mean people.

"Katie what's wrong." She says doing her best to calm Katie down.

"There faces and... and there looks, I scared mommy so, so so, scared." She says muffled by the fabric around her face. 

"Who's faces, who's looks." She says.

Katie pulls away from Alexis and looks her straight in the eye. "Am I a freak mommy."

Alexis looks at her wide eyed, is she really calling herself a freak? "Katherine Elizabeth Smith where did you get that from." 

"These-these meanie girls said that I was a freak... she said it really loud to and she used no no words and... and parents were giving me meanie looks and called me bad things."

Alexis looked as if her heart shattered into a million pieces. Why would someone say such rude things. Alexis scooped Katie up into her arms and sat both of them down onto Katie's bed properly. Alexis handed Katie Mr. Whiskers as she held him close to her chest. 

"Katie don't listen to what those meanies say, you aren't a freak. You're a beautiful, beautiful girl, okay? You're my beautiful girl. They just don't understand sweetie, so they make fun of people. Why didn't you tell me about this after it happened?" Alexis says before kissing Katie on the forehead. 

"Don't like seeing big people argue, makes me sad and I didn't want them to make fun of me anymore than they already was." 

Alexis sighed, she knew that Katie didn't like confrontation. "Okay, but why didn't you tell me when we got home, you know I don't like it when you cry."

"I know mommy, I just thought that I could be big and strong like you but, didn't work for me." Katie says looking down.

"Baby, I need you to understand that I'm not big and strong to, I have times where I'm sad too. When you're sad you talk to someone because not talking to someone makes you more sad, okay?" 

Katie nods, "Okay, I'll talk to someone when I'm sad, can-can I give you a big girl kiss."

"You sure can, and you always can." Alexis says bringing their lips together for a short yes passionate kiss.

"I love you Kitten." 

"And I love you too mommy."

hello, and if you thought that was the bad thing that was gonna happen, it isn't. i'm not going to do two bad things happen so close together. i may be evil but not that evil *smirky smirk*

i made a flower crown today and it looks really pretty and that makes me happy.
