Connor sat on the couch tucked under troye as he played with a photo he took the other day as Troye sat on Tumblr.

So it was a pretty basic day. 

But Connor was wearing the crown that Katie gave him and a skirt. He wasn't in littlespace he just liked feeling cute, he might even ask Katie if she could paint his nails. Connor would do it, but he doesn't really have the patience to do it himself.

"Tro?" Connor said putting his phone down and beginning to play with the hand that Troye wasn't using to control his mousepad on his MacBook.

"What is it Connie?" Troye said closing his laptop. 

"I was wondering, if maybe you, me, Katie and, Alexis could go on a double date? I mean we haven't really seen them in a few weeks so it would be nice that we got together and caught up."

Troye smiled, "Yeah that would be nice Bon, I'll call Lex up and see if she's in for it."

"Kitten please, I need you to talk to mommy. I can't help you if you don't talk to me." Alexis said sitting on the foot of Katie's bed.

"No, want Connie." Katie said he back facing her caregiver.

Alexis sighs. "If that's what you want baby girl." 

Alexis then walks over to her already ringing phone, picks it up and answers. "Hey T-Roye I was just about to call you what's up?" 

"Connor and I wanted to invite you guys over and maybe go on a double date, you up for it?"

 "As much as I want to I can't, Katie's upset and in little space and won't talk to me, she only wants to see Connor, that's what I was going to call you about." Alexis says glancing up the stairs.

"Oh, okay maybe another time. See you in a few?" Troye said.

"See you in a few."

Connor opened the door to Katie's slightly darkened room and crept in. From what he could see Katie was lying under the covers. 

"Kitty..." Connor said walking towards the bed. 

"C-Con is-is that you?" Katie said.

"Yep, just me." Connor said. 

Katie poked her head out just to make sure Connor wasn't lying. Sure enough he was telling the truth and she fully 'unmasked' herself from the covers. Connor looked at Katie, by the looks of it he was talking to big girl Katie.

"Are you okay Kitty, Lex said you wouldn't even talk to her." Connor said sitting down. 

Katie propped her arms on her knees and ran her hands over her hair. "Yeah I know, it's just that my mom called me the other day. I haven't spoke to her ever since she found out about this life style I chose. She told me that she wanted to talk to me, she is going to be in town and wanted to see me if I was up for it."

"Isn't that great?" Connor said.

"You never know with her, she could say one thing but mean the exact opposite. I wanted to tell Lexy but then she would insist on coming and I don't want he to face the judgement I did." 

Connor sighed and wrapped his arm around Katie's shoulder and pulled her close. "Kit I know you're probably scared but you gotta tell Alexis what's going on with you, she can't help if she doesn't know." 

"You're right Con, thanks." Katie says.

Connor kisses into Katie's hair. "What are best friends for? Now, I don't know if Alexis told you but I wanted us to go out on a double date, you okay with that?"

Katie smiles, "Of course I am, let's go!"

"Con, when you said double date I didn't really picture this." Troye said as four of them walked to stand in line for go karts. 

Nobody expected something like this, from Connor at least. They thought that they were gonna go out for coffee and then maybe a walk so Connor would have a good excuse to take some nice photos. Not go karts, lazertag and pizza. 

"I can't always be predictable Sivan."

"Whatever you say Joel." Troye says. 

Katie groans sarcastically. "I think I'm going to be sick from you two." 

"Shut up Katie. You and Alexis were basically humping each other during mini golf." Connor says. 

Katie throws her hands up in defense. "Not my fault Lexi babe doesn't know how to swing a golf club." 

"Not my fault I-." Alexis started.

"Excuse me?" A voice said. 

The four of them turned around to a woman in her thirties if not early forties. 

"I'm sorry but I think you and your kind are disrupting the environment." 

"I'm sorry bu-." Troye started but Katie quickly cut him off.

"Our 'kind'? I don't know if you are aware of this but but you are in the heart of California, there are millions of gays here, my friends and I are just not afraid to flaunt it. I do not see anyone else telling my friends and I that we are "disrupting the environment" just you. If you have a problem with us, move you place in line or get out cause to be honest your homophobic kind is disrupting the environment." Katie said.

The lady stood back, shocked as a few people turned to her and shook their heads and as Katie crossed her arms daring the lady to say something else.

"Rude." The lady said.

Katie shrugged and turned back to the group. All staring at her as if she had done something crazy.

"So who's ready for those go karts?"
