I groaned and flopped down on my bed, why hasn't Harry responded to my last letter? It's bad enough to be separated from my boyfriend during the holidays, but to not even get a reply?

"Draco, I need to talk to you." Lucius yelled from the hallway next to my room, and I slowly walked outside.

"What?" I asked, confused why he was talking to me.

"What is this." He asked, and showed me an opened letter addressed to me.

I froze, that letter was from Harry.

"A letter." I replied.

"A letter from who?" He snapped.

"You tell me, you read it." I sassed back, angry that he invaded my privacy.

"Hmm lets take a look, shall me? It appears this letter is from your "babe", also known as Harry Potter." He almost growled the last part and I was starting to get seriously worried about my safety.

"Break up with that boy, and get a girlfriend. We need an heir, and dating Harry Potter of all people is a disgrace." He snarled.

"Father, I'm gay so I can't-"

Smack.

The sound of skin on skin echoed across the hallway, and a red blotch appeared on my pale cheek.

It stung, but what hurt the most was the crushing knowledge of having to break up with Harry.

** Two Days Later, On the Hogwarts express**

I walked up the steps onto the train, ashamed of the bruise on my face.

I wanted to hurry into a department by myself, and avoid everyone.

I almost made it to the back when I felt a familiar hand on my shoulder.

"Where are you hurrying off too? I never got a reply back, maybe the owl lost my letter. I decided to come on the train to sit with you so you wouldn't be lonely." Harry said in a soft voice.

"Don't touch me." I snapped and yanked out of his grip while I turned around.

Harry looked hurt at first, but looked immediately worried when he saw my bruised face.

"How'd that happen?" He asked sympathetically, raising a hand to brush against my cheek.

"It's nothing, I've gotta go." I said to him and rushed off, when I heard feet scuffling behind me I said

"Don't follow me."

Without even looking back.

I ran down the train, my robes flapping behind me as tears streamed down my face.

I hated this, I hated it so much. Harry was the only thing that kept me sane at this school, and now I can't talk to him without my dad finding out.

He had spies, and he would just hurt me more if he knew I kept my boyfriend.

I slammed the compartment door and started to sob, Harry was my stars in the sky and now I felt pitch black.
