Quick A/N
Hi everyone!I just want to apologize for taking so long with this chapter. As well as doing my best to update this story, I am working on another one as well. It is an UnderSwap!Papyrus x reader if any of you are interested.
Anyway, ON WITH THE CHAPTER!!!

Y/N's P.O.V
My eyes widened in shock at who had stood there. His tall figure along with the threatening aura radiating off him struck me like a truck. His black battle body combined with a tattered scarf, spiky red gloves and high red and black combat boots made their way into my memory. His menacingly spiked teeth and the crack/scar that went down one of his eyes, which in turn added to the toughness of his looks, along with the tone of his voice when speaking to Sans made my memory snap.Pure shock was plastered on my face. I covered my mouth with a shaking hand and grabbed onto the tree for dear life.
"P-Papyrus..." I breathed out, not daring to say his name any louder, in hopes that he wouldn't have spotted me. Letting out a quiet yelp, I quickly hid back behind the tree when I saw his face turn in my direction. There was silence for a moment before I heard Papyrus yell at Sans once more.
"SANS YOU LAZYBONES! YOUR JOB IS TO KEEP WATCH FOR HUMANS AT YOUR POST, BUT INSTEAD YOU SLACK OFF AS USUAL! USELESS!" He summoned a jagged bone and lifted it up high above his skull.
My blood immediately ran cold.
Before Papyrus could swing the bone down at Sans, I ran and stood in front of him, arms stretched out to block the hit, and awaited the strike. Papyrus swung the bone down, sending excruciating pain coursing throughout my shoulder. I screamed out in pure agony as I held my wounded shoulder to try and stop the bleeding. My knees collided with the ground, my blood staining the white snow red.
"BOSS! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Sans yelled out, holding my shoulder as well to help stop the bleeding. Sans looked at me with worry and concern in his eyes before proceeding to help me up.
Must've been instinct.
Papyrus staggered back when he saw me, bone disappearing as his eyes locked onto my messy figure. He studied me with intense eyes that sent a chill up my spine, and by the look on his now slightly surprised/shocked face, I could tell he almost recognized me. But his expression immediately changed back to mad when he saw Sans helping me with my wound.
"WE ARE SUPPOSED TO CAPTURE HUMANS, NOT HELP THEM SANS! WHY ARE YOU HELPING THIS CREATURE?" Papyrus yelled once more. I flinched when he crept closer to us, before he stopped about an inch in front of me. Feeling the chill again, I slowly lifted my hand up and checked my HP bar.
[10/20 HP]
My eyes widened, and I quickly looked back at Sans, only to see that one of his eyes were pitch black, while the other glowed a fierce blood-red. He held on to me tighter and let out a snarl at Papyrus, to which he took a step back. All of a sudden, his snarl turned into a smirk as he stared down at me with hatred.
Wow, mood swing much?
"Well boss, I ain't gonna lie, I would've done the same thing to her as well. But since she's alive, let's go torture her a bit before we send her off to Undyne." Sans said with a deadly calm, venom lining every word. I stared at him, pupils shrinking.
