Y/N's POV
Run
The one command I kept yelling at myself as I grabbed my backpack and jacket before sprinting for the streets. My powers aren't exactly helping me right now. That beating I got 1 hour ago didn't exactly help my situation. I used the last of my energy to slam my abusive father against the wall before grabbing my stuff and sprinting right out.

Finally.
I've reached a forest high up on Mount Ebott, away from humanity and all its horrors. I quickly check my bag if everything was still in place.
Top zipper. I feel for the gun, the lighter and the pocket knife I packed earlier and find their silhouettes.
Check
Second pocket a little higher. I open the zipper and check if the snacks, My Sketchbook and pencilcase were packed. They were.
Check
And finally the small pocket pocket at the front. I open the zipper and find my phone, charger and headphones in it.
All good.
To me, Humanity was a disease. Picking on someone because of their gifts, abuse for no reason; it just doesn't add up.
They pushed me around to the extent of me using my so called 'gift' against them. My powers kept me alive for centuries, but I still look like your average (Age) year old.I've seen the war between the humans and monsters. I've seen what humanity has done to them.
Humanity is corrupted.
Humans have spread rumors about monsters, saying they were cruel and vicious and showed no mercy.
Hell, I thought they were talking about themselves...
'Which is why,' I thought to myself
'I'm rooting for the monsters.'
Snapping out of my daze, I quickly looked around for any logs; anything I could use to make a small torch, for the time being. Much to my luck, a medium sized log lay on the floor along with some sharp stones. I rush for the stones and carve a round shape at the top of my torch-in-the-making. I carved it out and used my magic to set the top of the torch ablaze.
This will last a while.
I walked around, looking for anything I can use for shelter, for just this one night. The woods were dim and the trees stood like slender pillars of wood. It almost scares me.
Almost
I kept on walking until I encountered a huge, and I mean huge hole in the ground. The edge of the hole was surrounded with large roots, extending on the edge. I quickly teleported onto the top of one of the roots, peering down into an abyss of nothingness. Quickly, I threw the torch I made earlier into the hole and teleported to each place it hit, so I could see where it will land.
Worst idea I could've ever concieved.
The torch was nowhere in sight, and my powers were draining me far too quickly to keep up with the torch. My eyelids grew heavy; my body was giving out on me.
The world became dark,
And I fell right into my demise.~<>~
My eyes fluttered open, only to see that I was not falling anymore.
I wasn't lying on hard cement,
But on a patch of golden flowers.I hauled myself up, but fell as I felt shooting pains on my arm.
