When you text him

It was 10:45, Saturday morning the next day. Your parents were working overtime for some extra money for the week, so once again you were home alone. You laid on the couch watching (favorite show), on TV any you were starting to get bored. You didn't know what to do with yourself. Later you decided to spend your time on (favorite social media), posting and sharing recent pics on your phone. Once you have finished with that, you decided to make something to eat and stuck a container of chow mein noodles in the microwave. You accidentally burned your fingers taking it out and pulled out an oven mitt from the junk drawer. You placed it under the container as you sat back down in front on the TV, sitting comfortably against the arm of the couch.
You were so beyond bored, you didn't want to watch TV all day waiting for your parents to get home. You sighed, closing your eyes as you leaned your head back. You thought about Leo and what he possibly does on weekends. You two had such a good time yesterday. You chuckled softly to yourself as you thought about him. He has a way of making you feel good inside, funny enough.
It would be more fun spending my Saturday with him watching TV rather than by myself. You thought.
You suddenly remembered the little piece of paper Leo gave you with his number and glanced over on the coffee table where you left it las night. You thought about it for a long moment.
...Meh, why not?
You grabbed your phone, taking the piece of paper and saved the number in your phone. Then you mustered up the courage to give him a quick text.
Hey Leo, it's (y/n). :) How r u?
It took a while until he replied, but after fifteen minutes you heard your phone buzz.
Heyyy (y/n). I guess I'm doing good, and you?
I'm BORED!!!
:D XD! Do u want me to come over?
You suddenly started feeling tingly inside, you almost felt tickled pink.
Awe, he cares. You thought, smiling big.
You wanted him to come over so badly, but your parents were almost done with there overtime and probably will be home. You looked over at the clock. It was already going for 11:30. You groaned in disappointment as you reluctantly texted him back.
I wish you could Leo, but my parents' morning overtime is almost up and will probably be home within the hour.
:(
I know. :( I'm sorry.
It's okay, maybe some other time.
You thought for a second.
Well hey, my parents go into work early Monday. We can hang out then or something?
:D OK!!! Sounds good.
Great! See ya Monday!!!

You felt yourself blushing when you saw his last text. He texted a heart! Your lips curled into a wide smile as you stared at it. You thought it was cute, you slightly giggled. You felt the heat in your cheeks slowly go away as you turned back to the TV. At least now you had something to look forward to this week. You couldn't wait to see him again, strangely.

Leo's POV
I stared at my T-phone for a long moment at the text I just sent to (y/n). I felt my cheeks heating up as I looked at the heart. I feel so stupid.
"I can't believe I did that, what possessed me to do that?!"
I panicked a little, wishing I could take what I texted back. I hoped she didn't take it the wrong way...oh dear God! I didn't want to ruin our friendship with this one text accident.
I stood up from my bed and put my phone on my dresser. I took off my blue bandana as I walked back to my bed and flopped back down on the mattress, burying my face in my pillow. I shook my head.
I muffled in the pillow. "Oh, I hope I didn't screw this up!"
Even thought I felt like I messed up, I couldn't help let a smile cross my face just thinking about Monday. At least I get to see her again. "If she asks about the text, I'll apologize then."
