I was running down an empty hallway that seemed as if it went on forever. I heard heavy footsteps behind me. I ran faster and faster. I then ran into a wall. I look to see whose foot steps it was. Felix. But he wasn't alone. My dad. I curled on the ground as punches and kicks were thrown at me. I couldn't go anywhere. The hallway shrunk and soon it was just me and them. All alone. No escape.
I wake up with sweat and tears. Shaking and blinking fast. I tried to calm myself but I couldn't. I picked up my phone and dialed Mark.
"Hello? What's wrong clove?" He said sleepy at first then sounded worried.
I started sobbing. "I-I h-had a b-bad d-dream." I stuttered out.
"It's ok baby calm down." I slowed my breathing and laid down. His baritone voice was so soothing. I closed my eyes. "Can you sing to me?"
"Of course clove." He started singing 'you are my sunshine' slowly I stated to drift away. Soon I was asleep.
Third person POV:
Jack soon drifted off to sleep. Mark didn't stop singing until he heard some snoring. He then hung up the phone and laid back down in his bed. He thought of his lucky charm and how much luck and love he has brought into his life.
