Two Months Later
Eleonora was fast asleep on the couch at the apartment in DC. She had sold her apartment in London. Hawk, the cat, was curled up beside her on the soft couch. A large fluffy blanket was draped over Eleonora as she slept. She had been living with a certain soldier for a few weeks. He had agreed to help her with the baby. Steve was nice like that. He was a gentleman.
Steve walked down the hallway and smiled seeing Eleonora asleep on the couch. Of course he still had feelings for her but she was pregnant with Loki's baby. She had a little bump and it was a little noticeable. He wanted to help her with this. Ever since Eleonora found out that Loki had died while saving Thor, she had been a wreck for awhile. She wouldn't see him ever again.
Eleonora mumbled something and rolled over in her sleep causing Hawk to fall off the couch onto the floor. Steve chuckled when the cat scurried into the kitchen after falling off the couch. He smiled and went over fixing the blanket on Eleonora. Yet Eleonora didn't stay sleeping for long.
"Steve?" Eleonora asked tiredly looking up at the soldier. Steve chuckled and looked at Eleonora.
"Go sleep back in your own room. The bed is probably a lot more comfortable than this couch" Steve said with a smile. Eleonora gave him a glare before she got up and wrapped her blanket around herself. She shuffled to her bedroom with Hawk following not far behind her.
"Oh! And Clint called. He said something about you going to stay with him for a little bit" Steve said making Eleonora stop in her tracks. She looked back and nodded slightly.
"I'll call him back and tell him I'll go down to see him" Eleonora said before she went into her bedroom. She plopped down on the soft bed and snuggled up with her large fluffy pillow. She liked living with Steve. He was very nice to her. He would always help her with the pain that was caused by her growing bump.
Hawk hopped up onto the bed and curled up beside Eleonora. He hoped she wouldn't push him off again. Eleonora looked at her cat and smiled a little bit. She reached over and scratched him under the chin gently. She looked at her cat as she scratched him under the chin.
"I'm fat" Eleonora mumbled burying her face into her pillow. She wasn't too fat yet but it sure felt like it. Seriously she was only two months. She groaned a little and rolled over so her back was on the bed. She looked at her growing bump with a small smile.
"I don't care what you are. I'll always love you" Eleonora said. She secretly hoped it was a boy though. Well she didn't really care what it was. There was a knock on her bedroom door making her groan.
"Hey loser. I brought Chinese food" her sister's muffled voice said through the door. A smile formed on Eleonora's face hearing the word food. Especially Chinese food. That stuff was good.
"Come in" Eleonora said looking up with a smile seeing her sister. Rosalyn entered the room and smiled at her little sister.
"Hey there" Rosalyn said walking over to her sister, "how is my nephew or niece?"
"Good. I like it how you ask about him/her before you ask me how I am doing" Eleonora said looking at her older sister. She sat up and took the bag of Chinese food getting her chop sticks.
"You and your Chinese food" Rosalyn said getting up and looking around the room. She smiled at the pictures on Eleonora's board. They were pictures of her and Steve. They were best friends. Eleonora was helping him get use to the world now. They had went to the beach and did a bunch of stuff when Eleonora came back from London.
Rosalyn smiled at the picture that was always her favorite. It was Eleonora and Steve at the park. Eleonora had covered his eyes with her hand and made a goofy face as she snapped the picture. It had been a good day at the park. She knew that Eleonora would make a great mother.
Eleonora had been already shoving rice and noodles into her mouth. She slurped up the noodles and looked up at her sister. "What?" She asked with a mouth full of the amazing Chinese food.
"Nothing" Rosalyn said going over to her sister. She sat down on the bed and started eating her own Chinese food that she had ordered for herself. The Falcon Siblings loved Chinese food. Sean was the one who didn't like it too much. He only liked the shrimp and noodles though.
(Asgard)
Meanwhile on Asgard, Odin sat on the thrown as usual. Well to be honest it wasn't really Odin. Loki had disguised himself as Odin and took his place on the golden throne of Asgard. Loki had been worried sick about Eleonora. Thor had told him that Eleonora was with child. Loki's child.
Loki was shocked when Thor had told him but he tried to remain calm. He had asked Hiemdall to keep a good eye on Eleonora. Hiemdall didn't ask why. Possibly because Odin would be worried due to the fact there would be a child like Loki. Odin would be worried for Midgard's safety. But Loki however just wanted to make sure Eleonora was okay and well.
Loki was beyond excited about having a child with the woman he loved the most. He just couldn't leave Asgard and go see her. Maybe he could go see her to reassure her that he was still alive. It was devastating to see her cry when she was told about his death. He hated seeing her cry. That was something he despised.
Loki wished Eleonora could be back on Asgard but she was safe in the Soldier's hands and home. The Captain was taking good care of her. Loki was relieved to know that one of the Avengers still had a heart for Eleonora. Not many of them talked to her since she quit being an Avenger.
Loki sighed and put his head in his hands. He needed to tell Eleonora that he was alive and okay. He wanted her to know that he would be fine. He didn't know how to tell her though. He couldn't. He missed her dearly though.
