Chapter 5
I looked at the bush once more
"Ugh " I whispered
I'll never get use to blood.
The man basically lifted the earth of my shoulders as he said to me in a eager tone.
"So what's your name?"
"Juniper...... Juniper Hearthstone."
He looked at me with a smile
"My son will absolutely adore you so will my mother."
Once he said that something in me warned that my life would now belong to circus, who knew I was basically one digit off.
He travelled fast but I managed to keep up. He was definitely a good hunter, you could tell by how he knew the way back -off-by-heart.
"God, your a fast one!"
He looked behind him to see me basically trailing behind. I stopped near him.
"I had some practise."
"Well, here we are!"
As he pointed to a shelter among so many things all in a small cocoon of a area.
"WOW!"
I trailed the shops and was amazed at how many people were living here. Most were adults but I didn't mind. As I followed the streets in amazement, I bumped into a boy roughly my age.
"watch where your going maggot!"
"what did I give you a splinter?!"
I replied in anger, he apparently has no self control, or judgement.
"who the hell do you think you are?!"
he leaned in closer, making eye contact.
"I'm the girl that gave you a little wittle splinter."
I said in a baby voice.
"ugh, you think your so smart!"
"smarter than you I'm sure!"
I basically spat in his face.
he cocked his head back with pride and walked off into the other direction
The huntsmen appeared before me, puffing and wheezing while leaning on my shoulder.
"what took you so long?"
"you.... your not so easy to catch you know!"
He exclaimed
"so... who... who was in your quarrel"
"oh just some idiotic boy and uh, would you please get off me."
"OH, sorry!"
"it's okay."
I said slightly annoyed that he just noticed.
