Hello all. Welcome again. It has been well over a few years since I have been on here and I thought I could welcome myself back with a new story featuring my current OTP. Anyway, the last story I wrote was back in middle school and I just graduated high school back in May, so my writing may be a little rusty! Anyway, please enjoy and I would love to hear your thoughts on this once you finish. Thanks again and happy reading!

“Ahh man! Why am I here? Why did I come here? Fuck.” Marshall Lee cursed to himself as he surveyed the room he was in. He was in Fionna’s tree house. Well, the living area of the home, but why? He, himself, didn’t even know the answer to that one. He had just, came by. Perhaps hoping the tomboyish girl would have made it home by now or maybe he was there to look for something. Either way, he felt time slipping and what a sight it would be if Fionna was to walk in and see the Vampire King in her house. Wrapping his hands in his raven locks, he began to pace the room, paranoid, “She’s going to be home any moment now. I need to leave.” Finally, Marshall gained enough confidence to reach for the door handle but as soon as his grey fingers touched the gleaming knob, it started to turn with a small clicking sound. ‘DAMNIT, I’M TOO LATE,’ he thought to himself as he quickly searched for a hiding place. Seeing the couch, he quickly took the chance and dove behind the furniture almost instantly.

Turning the light on, Fionna glanced around, feeling something that wasn’t right, almost as if someone was in her house. But how would she know? The girl was most definitely wasted. She shrugged her shoulders and continued her conversation on her cell with her dear friend, Cake, “No Cake. I just got home.” Tonight was the night that Prince Gumball held another one of his famous parties. She was supposed to have been escorted by her vampire boyfriend, Marshall Lee, but her friends absolutely despised the Vampire King, and after their breakup, they finally wanted to associate with her again; some friends huh? Well after secretly getting back with him, Fionna didn’t want anyone to find out. That was until Cake came home early one day and caught them smooching on the couch. But Cake being the awesome friend she was, agreed to keep the secret. Marshall, understanding that no one knew, volunteered to stay at his lair for the night while the girl he cared so much for went off to dance at the Candy Kingdom.

Hearing Fionna’s voice, Marshall glanced from the side of the couch. She looked gorgeous. Not too dressed up, but not very casual either. She was wearing her hair in a ponytail, a new thing she started doing at formal events or even get togethers. Her strapless blue dress was knee length, ripped at the bottom for show with nude stockings and black heels. Feeling his face heat up, Marshall sat back in his hiding spot and thought about how lucky he was to have a second chance with the adventuress. He took a deep breath and suddenly his nose picked up the scent of something strange. Was that, alcohol? Marshall became very inquisitive as he heard the girl slur her words a bit while on the phone with her friend. Not only did this worry the vampire, but he was suddenly overwhelmed with all the questions his mind threw at him, ‘What the hell happened tonight? What did Gumwad do to her? Is she okay? Did she drive? Fionna never drinks… what caused her to do this?’ Marshall knew that none of these questions were going to be answered as long as he stayed where he was, but he was too afraid to move and risk startling the girl. He couldn’t blow his second chance. All hell would then break loose. He pushed the questions away and peeked up once again; trying to listen in on the conversation Fionna was having with Cake. Having her back turned, Marshall couldn’t help but admire her body; Sleek, thin, curves in all the right places, skin as pale as the moonlight, lips as pink as the blooming cherry blossoms. Oh yes. Marshall was a very lucky guy.

Turning back around, Fionna continued her argument on her phone. Marshall swiftly ducked, staying low just in time. Propping herself against the wall, Fionna pulled her foot up to her side and tried to un-do her heels, but because of a few too many, she managed to slip down and fall on her bottom. It wasn’t helping that Cake’s sassy tone could be heard from the other end of the line. Marshall tried to listen in closely, but couldn’t understand what they were saying or even speaking about. All he knew was that Fionna seemed really annoyed with the small cat. Perhaps she was child-rearing her? At least that’s what it sounded like to Marshall.
