CAMP AWESOME

Chapter five.

I walked over the camp site towards the cabins. It was crawling with teenagers. Some we're wondering around obviously lost while some had already found their cabins. Somehow somewhere between the hall and cabins I had managed to loose sight of Lauren.

I looked at the tag in my hand. It read cabin 13. Wait wasn't 13 supposed to be an unlucky number. I shrugged off the thought. "10,11,12,13,14,15.....wait i was in cabin 13...I walked two cabins back and it stood in front of me.

Well it was exactly what I had imagined. The cabin was made of wood and had a porch at the front. On the lawn stood a cranky old wooden sign that read cabin 13. I really hoped my roommates liked me. I was about to find out. Here goes nothing. I took in a lot of air and pushed against the heavy wooden door. It creaked open and two girls were sitting at the end of a bed engrossed in their conversation.

I'd recognize that hair any where. Even in my dreams. " Lauren ", i screamed. The red head spun around and looked at me with her big blue eyes. " OMG, Kristy, " she said and ran up to me me scqueeling in delight. This girl could I hug I said mentally.

Oh, this is Taylor BTW. She told me and I shook hands with the other girl. " I'm Kristen but my friends call me Kristy, I said,a smile creeping up my face. I was already loving this place. " Lets get this party started" said Lauren giggling. I set my bag on the upper bed an soon we were all unpacking.
