Assalamu'alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkatuhu. Days are passing by so fast.. Ramadan has a beauty of its own, filled with noor and glory of Allah. The devils are chained and the gates of heaven are opened during this month. How I wish the peace, serenity and glory could remain like this for the rest of the year.

How are the Dares up until now? Able to follow them?

So the next dare is.....

#DARE FIVE

*Control your tongue*

Ever had those moments when you regret so deeply about what you've said to someone?

Do you know most of the sins are committed by the tongue?

It sometimes happens that we say things we would never think about saying. We use words that hurt others feelings.

What if those exact words with that tone was used against us? Would we hold up and don't feel anything?

Controlling our tongue especially in Ramadan is very important.

Here's what you've got to do to take down this dare:-

•In the moment of anger remind yourself "I'm fasting I'm fasting" for it's the message from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

•When you're so agitated and feel you can't control your anger anymore, recite the names of Allah (#Dare 3) till what you've learnt. Remember HIS Wrath and Mercy while doing so, for surely HIS(SWT)'s Mercy Prevails over HIS Wrath than why can't yours?

• Take this as a good chance to develop a very important virtue - one that Allah loves the most. Yes! It's Patience.

So, ready for this one? Very hard? Very easy? I know of some very patient people. SubhanAllah I absolutely adore them. And Alhamdulillah I think by HIS Grace I've come halfway in becoming patient too. Trust me it all depends on practice. The more you practice patience, the more you'll become one and.......it's a Priceless Virtue! One you can't buy with money.

Anger destroys your health, your character and your Imaan. So make sure you work on it.

I'll give you one more job, a very simple one, type "verses in Qur'an for Patience" in google and you'll get tons of beautiful ones.

Let me quote some,

ﺳَﻼَﻡٌ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﺻَﺒَﺮْﺗُﻢْ ۚ ﻓَﻨِﻌْﻢَ ﻋُﻘْﺒَﻰ اﻟﺪَّاﺭ

Salamun AAalaykum bima sabartum faniAAma AAuqba alddari

"Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!"

And one more,

ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﺟَﺰَﻳْﺘُﻬُﻢُ اﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﺻَﺒَﺮُﻭا ﺃَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻫُﻢُ اﻟْﻔَﺎﺋِﺰُﻭﻥ

Innee jazaytuhumu alyawma bima sabaroo annahum humu alfaizoona

"I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..."

And one more,

Qul ya AAibadi allatheena amanoo ittaqoo rabbakum lillatheena fee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waardu Allahi wasiAAatun innama yuwaffa alssabiroona ajrahum bighayri hisabin

Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!"

And I could go on and on...for there are many beautiful ones! Look at the last verse above "...those who Patiently Persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!" Ah! How great that verse is ...and how promising! ...without measure... HE (SWT) Says He'll Reward us without measure without account.. SubhanAllah! How much Patience has been Elevated... So why not develop such a great virtue? It'll help us overcome our obstacles in our way to Jannah.

As you can see, we started with anger and ended up with Patience. This tells us how Patience is the ultimate solution for solving anger issues. So this Dare contains not only one but two messages

One: Controlling Anger

Two: Being Patient

So, let's put effort and work on becoming more patient and thus be immensely rewarded.

Leaving you with our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 's words

"The strongest of you is he who controls his anger"
