***Lacey's P.O.V***
***Staying in the hotel, because Lacey is at a school trip. Her roommate just left the room. It's just Alisha now in the room***
The Hotel phone starts to ring. Then my phone. One Call after the other.
I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. I just found out my boyfriend was going to dump me. And that he cheated on me. But before he dumped me, I dumped him. That little bug needs to be flicked. Like what a little kid would do with their booger!!
*Ring Ring*
*Ring Ring*
I angrily slam the phone against the wall.
Somehow, the cracked phone didn't break. It was still fully functioning. How? What? Why?
The phone starts to talk! It's my dad!
Oh God, I knew I was in trouble!
I'm always in trouble!
"WHAT DAD?!" I shout.
"I got a call from-"
"Dad, if this is about school Grades.." I calmly say.
"No not that- wait what? I was talking about something else!"
"Oh, never mind dad. What did you want to say?"
"I don't know how to tell you."
"Dad, you can tell me anything!"
My Dad starts tearing up. It was unusual to see or hear my dad cry. It either meant that he was either high or it was something serious. When my dad was younger he was a drug addict, which made me sad when I found out. Because he was alone. I've always been told to watch out about my dad by my friends, they apparently have seen him going to other woman's houses and doing all that 'stuff '. I never told my dad about this because I believed in him. And I REALLY didn't want to bring it up!
I was just with my dad at the moment.
My mom was probably out with her friends gone out drinking. Getting high!
"Lace..." My dad sighed
"Come on, Dad!" I yelled
"Your, your mother-" he sadly said
I immediately knew what he was going to say.
The 2 other words. 'IS' and 'DEAD'
"Is dead"
