***Lacey's P.O.V***
We looked at each other and ran inside the game room. We spent money like Crazy!! We were laughing our asses off just running around and playing games.
I looked to see 45 minutes went past, and that I had 7 text messages and 4 missed calls from Cassie. I could tell that maybe she was worried.
I told hunter that it had been THAT long. We both just sat down on the couch outside the game room, to catch our breath.
"Why don't you smile that often?" Hunter asked.
I didn't know what to say, i was tired of lying about everything. I just told the truth.
"Because I'm broken." I said emotionless.
"A beautiful girl like you can't be broken."
"Yeah well, don't trust what you see. Even salt looks like sugar!" I replied.
He stopped talking about that. Thank god.
"I'm sorry I'm such a party pooper" I frown.
"You're not a party pooper! That game room was lit!" He laughed. I laughed with him.
"There's that beautiful smile!" He said looking me straight in the eyes.
"Shut up, loser" I say while smiling. I hit his arm lightly.
"They are probably wandering where we are."
I added.
I laughed a little while getting up and grabbing Hunters hand and pulling him in the opposite direction of the game room.
While we were in the elevator, Hunter intertwined our fingers, causing me to look up at him.
"Your hands are really warm and mine are very cold." He smiled. I smiled with him, uncontrollably.
"Shoot, I forgot the key." I said.
"Looking for this?" Hunter asked.
He somehow took my card from my pocket.
"You sly little fox!" I replied
He smiled at me. I made a grin this time.
He opened up the door letting the "lady go first" 😂
