Chapter 31

Lily's pov

I wake up slowly and I'm in my bedroom.  I then remember everything that happened. I sit up quickly and immediately regret it when pain not only shoots through my abdomen but my head.

"Careful hun. Doctor Williams had fixed your stitches. When fighting those warriors your ripped a few open." Ravenna said taking a seat next to me.

"Ravenna? Where is Theo?" I asked starting to get up but she stopped me.

"Lil, Theodore is in the cells. What do you remember?"

"Everything. I was checking to see if they changed their minds." I grumbled. She sighed.

"Lil he was a danger and Alpha David couldn't take that risk."

"He wasn't hurting any one. He had the chance to hurt me but didn't." I said firmly.

"I'm not saying it especially since I'm part rouge but now everyone is questioning why you were so protective of him. Tell me Lil. Why did you lash out like that?" I sighed.

"I don't know. My wolf didn't like the fact they were going to take Theo away because of a potential threat thing. I guess she wanted him to have a chance." I said smiling a little. She sighed.

"No one wanted to hurt you further when you did that. That's why Doctor Williams had to sedate you. He was worried you would have hurt someone if he didn't."

"Ravenna why weren't you protective of him if your both rogues?" I asked quietly.

"Because my wolf is protective of family and friends not much more. So even though he is a rouge I don't feel like I should care that much. I did get worried when you started to freak out on us. Since you were injured I was a tad bit more protective but not much." She explained with a small sad smile.

"I need to go talk to Alpha David and get him to release Theo." I said getting out of the bed.

"Lil I don't know if that's a good idea. With all the rogues that have been passing through here I don't think he would want to free him." Ravenna said uncertain.

"I have to try." I said with finality in my voice. I get up and she looks up at me with pride in her eyes.

"Okay then I guess I'm going with you." She said taking my arm. We walk out of my room and she leads me to Dad's study. I look up at her confused but she just gave me a smile. We walk in and there sat Dad along with Alpha David. They knew I would want to talk to them after I woke up.

"I want you to free Theo." I said breaking the silence along with getting to the point. Alpha David sighed.

"Lily it's not that easy. He is possibly the rouge that had been hurting my warriors and I can't take that chance of releasing him then he starts to do it again." Alpha David said firmly.

"What if someone attacked a warrior when he was in the cells? Then would you release him?" I asked strongly.

"Well I suppose it would prove he didn't attack that warrior but how do we know he didn't attack one before?" He stressed.

"Let me go speak to him. He told me the truth once and I know he'll do it again. Please he just want to be free." I pleaded to him.

"Lily it's to dangerous. He could hurt you."

"He won't. He hasn't the entire time I've been with him. Please Alpha David."

"I suppose you can go and see him but since your hurt already please take someone with you."

"I'll go with her. I'm already here anyway." Ravenna said with a small smile.

"Thank you Ravenna. Now you two best head down there I'll send a message to the guards."

"Yes sir." We said before leaving. We walked downstairs and out the door. We went to my car which Ravenna grabbed the keys to on our way out. I got in the passengers side and she got to the drivers. She took off toward the pack house. I hated to think Theo was suffering in that cell of his. Bad things happen to rogues in the cells. We made it to the pack house soon enough and she drove further so we can make it to the cells faster. When we parked I got out before here and started to run to the cells. My focus on seeing Theo. When I made it to the entrance the guards stopped me.

"Lily you can't go in with out someone protecting you." The guard I recognized as Tom, a friend to my dad.

"But Tom, Alpha David said I could go inside." I said sternly. I felt Ravenna approaching.

"Lily he gave us specific orders not to let you in unless you are with someone. "

"She is Tom. Now let us in." Ravenna said walking in front of me.

"He is in cell 218 and please be careful." Tom said before letting us through. We walked through the rows of cells that held all types of rouges. One tried to grab me but I moved away quickly causing me to run into Ravenna.

"Lil are you okay?"

"Yeah." I answered simply. We continued until we found a secluded cell with the numbers 218 above it. I looked at Theo. He had some bruises and some cuts. It wasn't that bad but I still didn't like that.

"Come back to torture me-Lily? What are you doing here?" Theo asked looking at me.

"I need some information in order to get you free again."

"Anything. What do you need to know?" Theo asked.

"You must promise me you will tell the truth." I said sternly.

"I promise."

"Did you attack a warrior when you came to our territory?" I asked with no emotion.

"No. That was the rogues who were chasing me. I even protected a warrior." He said with sincerity lacing his voice.

"Who are these rogues?"

"They are working for this Oliver guy who was trying to recruit me. If I didn't side with them they would kill me. I still didn't side for them and fought my way out.  That's why I had those claw marks on my side. They're trying to kill me."

"Last question. How did you get past all the guards and into my room?"

"Well they were kinda busy with the rogues that were chasing me so I was able to slip by and I found a house with a window open. I jumped up and got through the window. I put the rag to my wound and then you came in. So it was all by luck." He said with a smile. I smile back at him.

"I'll get this information to Alpha David. Bye Theo." I said with a smile before leaving with Ravenna behind me. When we get out of the cells I turn to Tom and the other guard.

"Did you get everything you need?" Tom asked.

"Most likely. Listen if I find out that anyone hurts Theo again then I will personally come down here and take care of the person who did it." I said lowly before leaving.

"Lily why did you say that?"

"Because Theo doesn't deserve to be tortured. I can't stand things like that."

"Your going to be a really good beta female." Ravenna said with a smile.

"Thank you." I said with my own smile. We get in the car and start our drive back home but my thoughts were stuck on hoping we have enough information to free Theo.
