Chapter Four

Thursday

I was talking to Jenna on the way to school.

Once we got off the bus we walked into school.

I saw Tyler and Jason right when I walked in.

Jason gave me a red box it said meet me at my house, after school at 5 o'clock.

I looked at Jason but he just walked away.

Later that night around 5 o'clock

I went to Jake's house and I see a note by his door. It said go to your front door.

I went there and of course another note was there. It said now go to you backyard.

I ran to the backyard as fast as I could.

I turned the corner and saw Jake in a tux with a rose.

Once he saw me he smiled at me.

Hi. I said as I smiled back.

"Your probably wondering what the he'll is going on." He said.

Maria...will you...go to the dance with me this Friday? He asked.

I looked at him of course. I smiled.

He smiled back and I ran up to him and gave him a hug.

He handed me a rose and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

And I just couldn't resist I kissed him on the lips and gave him another hug.

I think he was stunned by the kiss because he didn't make the first move.

When the hug ended we just stood there staring into each other's eyes.<3
