Chapter Three

2 months later

Maria's POV

It's been two months since I moved here. Me and Jake have got very close.

Everything has been great but Ashley still gives me glares.

I think I'm starting to like Jake better than just friends.

There is a dance this Friday and every guy has been going crazy to ask me to go with them.

Today is Wednesday and I don't know who I want to go with. I'm getting nervous.

I guess I'm just looking for the right guy.

But anyways, Me and Jake are having a movie night.

He asked me yesterday if I wanted to go to his house tomorrow.

He told me his parents would be gone and my parents work late tonight. ( perfect opportunity for me and him to be ALONE) ;).

LATER THAT NIGHT

I finally got to Jakes house and he showed me 3 movies.

He knew I love scary movies so he had the Purge. Then he had Twilight and Beastly.

I thought that I should pick something less bloody and picked Beastly.

We sat on the couch by each other his arm behind me.

LATER

The movie just ended

Well that was a good movie I said looking at Jake and smiling.

Well I though we should just have a me and you night. He said.

I looked over by my house and see car lights. My mom must be home. I have to go but thanks for tonight.

WAIT. He said.

I'm really happy you could make it tonight. You know Maria your not like the other girls that are all over me. Oh am I? I said sarcastically.

Your different enough that you deserve this. He said. Our lips met and I was so happy.

I never thought he would kiss me tonight. Our lips came apart and I hugged him goodbye. Going back home.

Does he like me more than a friend like I do for him?
