Chapter six

The bell was about to ring. Everyone just wanted to get out of there.

Dingggggg

The bell rang.

I was so excited to go to the dance with Jake.

I have my dress picked out and everything.

I walked to my locker to get my backpack.

And what do you know, Jake was there.

"Hey baby." He said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey." I replied with a smile on my face.

"Are you excited for the dance?" He said smiling and showing off his pearly whites.

" Ah yeah! I think it will be a blast!" I replied.

" Since the dance starts at 7:30 I'll be there to pick you up at seven." He said.

"I better ago it'll take a while to get myself completely ready." I said looking Jake in the eyes.

" Okay, I'll see you at seven. Oh and you are coming to my house after the dance right. He asked.

"Yep." I replied.

He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close to him. Are lips soon connected.

Then, we hugged and said goodbye.

I walked up to my car. It is a Black 2014 Chevy Camaro. It's the nicest car I have ever had.

I drove home and immediately got ready.

I heard a knock at the door I was running around trying to finish getting ready. My dad open the door followed by my mom.

I heard my mom tell Jake to make himself comfortable and that I will be down in a second.

About five minutes later

I walked down my stairs to see Jake in a black tuxedo. He was sitting on the couch.

I walked into the living room and saw my dad eyeing Jake, like he does to all the other guys that come to my house.

" Oh my God Maria, you look gorgeous!" Jake said then stood up.

I was wearing a beautiful orange/ lava dress.

" Thanks, you look very handsome yourself." I replied.

" Would it be okay if we would take some pictures." My mom said.

"Sure." Jake said.

After about 50 pictures we had to leave to go to the prom.

We got in Jake's car and drove off.

" Sorry my parents kinda got caught up in the pictures." I said.

"Oh it's fine, my parents would have done the same."He replied.

We finally got to the dance and after hours it was a blast. I met Jenna and some of my other friends there but me and Jake danced all night together.

Jake's POV

A slow dance came on, it was finally the last song of the night, I had to make a move.

"Do you want to dance?" I asked Maria.

"Sure." She replied.

We swayed back and forth to the music.

She laid her head on my shoulder.

She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

The song was almost over.

I wonder if she loves me like I love her.

I'm going to tell her, I'm going to tell her that I love her.

The song ended she lifted her head from my shoulder, I put my hand on her cheek.

"I love you Maria, I think about you every second of the day and...

Our lips were connected.

We parted from the kiss and people started leaving.

"Do you wanna head to my house?" I asked.

" Yea let's go." She said.

We got in my car then drove off.
