The sunrise splashed over their faces, waking them up.
"Where's Lake?" Sapphire asked.
"I don't know, but what if Mary told to guys what happened? About us, you know, escaping?" Tuesday inquired.
"Wow, Tuesday, I forgot you were here, you were so quiet," Harriet said.
"Maybe Lake went to the toilet," Collin suggested.
"Yeah, maybe. But what if Mary told them, and, even worse, they believed her?" Susan asked. All the girls nodded their heads.
"Yeah, you're right. I'm gonna go to the toilet." Collin pointed to the edge of the roof. They all gave him confused looks. "I'm gonna pee off the edge of the roof." He explained walking to the edge and they looked away. All of a sudden, Tuesday heard something.
"I'll be two seconds." She murmured, walking in the direction of the sound. She was curious as to what it was and as she got closer, she heard it clearer.
"Help! Please! I'm stuck, somebody, help me!" Someone, a girl, was yelling. Tuesday was sure she had heard that voice before, she just couldn't remember where. As she was thinking, she noticed a boy, o more than her own age, stepping closer and closer until he, too, noticed the voice. He crept to the ledge where the source of the voice was and helped the girl up. Tuesday ducked behind a chimney and was watched over this. She gasped when she recognised Lake. 'That's where I heard the voice before!' She thought. She was about to run out when she saw the boy who aided Lake pull her hair and taunght her.
"Where you been, little girl?" He said, barely above a whisper. Tuesday chose to stay in the shadows, but sneak forward. She crawled behind another chimney and managed to get a better view of the boys face. Up close, he seemed more like he was in his early twenties than early teens. Lake had fear and sadness raging in her eyes. The man dragged her away down some steps. Tuesday followed discretly and spotted a door, with Lake being pushed through it.
