Clarke's POV

Although I was really confused as to why Lexa's nurse wanted to meet me at her station I went.

Out of curiosity and wonder.

After she told me about 'recognising love' or whatever it made me think. I know in my heart that I am indeed falling in love with Lexa.

I'm falling in love with her personality, how attentive and caring she is. Not considering herself but only considering those around her. Not letting the pain and difficulties she has suffer affect anyone else.

That's another thing I'm falling in love with is her grit and determination. She doesn't let her disability stand in her way. No matter how many obstacles were thrown and put in her way she smiled.

Oh her smile, so warm and welcoming. So beautiful, the way her lip curled slightly and gave her small dimples in her cheeks.

She's just so damn adorable. So damn beautiful. So damn... Well so damn Lexa!

This girl is the only thing I have been able to think about for the last week. Every thing I see, everything I hear reminds me of her.

Like when I see flowers I think of how Lexa is secretly a girly girl and loves flowers. Every time I hear someone laugh I just think about Lexa's laugh, hearing the heavenly sound in my head.

This girl just intoxicates me.

I get snapped from my thoughts of Lexa by a nurse tapping my shoulder.

Lexa's nurse, a young petite woman, is stood there with a smile on her face.

"So Clarke I want you to meet my friend Wil." She says in a chirpy voice pointing to a man stood next to her.

I look at the tall and blond man stood in front of me and smile at him.

"He's an interpreter." The nurse carries on to explain. "He's going to teach you some basic signs and some signs to help you ask a certain someone a certain question!"

"Really?" I say kind of shock that a stranger would do this for me.

"Of course!" She say as she hugs me.

"Thank you." I reply, now slightly excited. "Honestly!"

The nurse walks away from me after giving me a final smile. How nice of her was this to do for me, a complete stranger.

"Okay Wil, I'm ready to learn!" I say with a smile.

We head down the corridor and into the relatives room. Wil begins to teach me some basic signs; the 'hello how are you?' questions, the 5ws (who, what, why, where, when), the alphabet and numbers.

Then he teaches me a combination of  several words, which have a significant importance. I am relying on them.

----

After my short lesson with Wil I am quite confident that I know some basic sign language. I'm defiantly going to carry on taking lessons, well if this goes to plan.
