Sorry about bad SPAG!

Clarke's POV

I wake up early in the morning, regretting having a late night but I couldn't help it. I was worried about Lexa.

Being in hospital is scary, let alone when you are away from you family and away from any form of communication.

I drag myself out of bed, jumping into the shower sluggishly before I get changed and ready.

I put a red flannel shirt and black ripped jeans on, I look a little smart but still casual, it is only the first date anyway.

Plus Lexa's seen my in my pyjamas.

It's not really like I have to 'dress to impress' but I do want to impress.

I walk down stairs to great Lexa's mother and father. As I walk into the kitchen I notice a note on the counter top.

Hey Clarke,
We've gone to have a coffee and shop. Please look out for Lexa today, don't let her stress to much.

Dad.

I read the note with a smile, the fact that they left me with a note was really thought full. And the fact that Lexa's dad signed it Dad is really sweet.

I walk over the the other side of the counter and make myself a slice of toast, I then grab my set of Lexa's house keys and head to my car, which Lexa's dad brought to their house for me.

Once again, really sweet of him.

---

I click on my seat belt, starting up the engine. The radio starts up as my car does, leaving my play list on. The song Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood is playing.

I can't help but sing along as I make the small journey to the hospital. I practically scream every word of the song, even doing a small head bang and dance when I stop at the traffic lights.

As I pull into the hospitals car park I turn down the radio to almost silent, suddenly feeling slightly nervous. I don't know why I'm nervous I mean I've seen Lexa almost 100 times since I've known her.

For god sakes I live with her.

Plus she's been in a close proximity to my mother.

She knows more about me then most of the people on my life, I shouldn't be nervous.

Lexa's POV

Although my head is still aching and my side is painful I do my best to get out of the hospital bed with a smile.

I ask the nurse if I can take a shower, using my speaking app to help. She gives me a nod and scuttles away, not bothering to help me find the shower.

I make my way to the hospitals shower, taking my things my parents brought to the hospital for me.

I spend almost ten minutes trying to work out the controls to the shower. Buttons and dials lined the small panel inside the shower cubical.

I pressed the on button, and turned a few dials until the shower started to pump out water.

The cold water hit my skin with a chilling sensation. I turn another dial, trying to get more hot water, but nothing happened.
