Clarke's POV

"So Clarke," Lexa says, "Where are you taking me on our date?"

"It's a surprise!" I say, with an exciting grin.

Lexa lets out a small laugh. "Does it take long to get there?"

"About an hour maximum. But it's worth it, well I hope you think it's worth it." I say, kind of babbling from nerves.

Lexa means over and takes my hand softly, "Will you be there?" She asks.

"Yes." I say slightly confused. Of course I'm going to be there.

"Then I'm sure I'm going to love it."

I lean forward and cover my face with my hand slightly. Trying to hide my blushing.

"That was really cute!" I say with a laugh.

Lexa gives me a wide smile, looking really content that she could make me blush.

"I've missed your... Your um.." Lexa begins to stutter slightly.

I tap her shoulder to get her attention.

*Sign and talk* I sign.

Lexa smiles even wider.

"Just slowly." I chuckle.

Lexa laughs, her body relaxing. I can see her body language change, she becomes more slouched in her chair, her shoulders are no longer hunched over. She's comfortable.

"*You're learning sign?*" Lexa talks and signs.

*Yes* I sign with a smile.

"*Why?*" Lexa asks with curiosity.

"Because I want to, because I want to communicate with you without making you feel uncomfortable. I shouldn't just assume you should use my language, I should make the effort to learn yours."

"Wow.." Is all Lexa says.

Lexa's POV

"Wow" I say with complete shock, shock at Clarke's compassion and willingness.

I'm falling for this girl more and more.

She's beyond amazing, she's extraordinary.

I lean over and place a small kiss onto Clarke's for head.

"Thank you" I whisper as I pull away.

Clarke starts the car and we leave the hospital in the distance.

Clarke's POV

The journey has been going by so fast. We got caught up in traffic so the journey will take an extra 20 minutes.

Through out the journey Lexa and I encased in a little bit of small talk. Food, school, likes and dislikes the usual.

Lexa then taught me some signs and 'ways of the deaf' as she called it.
